Building is poorly managed. Loads of trash left by tenants in parking near dumpster because management has locked the dumpster. Now the alley has rats, roaches, ants and flies. Thanks a lot!! Also, management is not strong with tenants regarding their move outs. They often allow them to leave unwanted mattresses, sofas, and sundry unused stuff in the parking without calling 311 to request a bulky item pick-up. I guess management believes this is the neighborhood's job. It could be a nicer spot if management took some interest in what was occurring.

This complex is probably the best kept little secret. You get to live in a quiet relaxing environment for a very reasonable price. The property is secured and we have had no security issues because all the tenants watch for each other. Lastly, the property management company is only a block away and they respond quickly and professionally. The only downside is that there's no laundry room. I'd recommend this place to family and friends. JJ

Loads of trash/stuff on the side of building, which isn't locked, so anyone can just enter and be right next to you while you're showering or in the kitchen. Noise is a HUGE problem here. Musician neighbors who play loudly until 2 or 4 a.m. is common. Fighting, screaming and hearing everything else that might go on in someone else's apartment is common. I've heard on more than a few occasions a woman screaming and banging on someone's door, or even the front gate. Management has improved in response time about maintenance issues, but sends what seem to me like day-workers to do such poor work that they have to keep coming back over and over. I made sure I took photos of everything they've worked while I was in the place. You'll find that the painters splatter all over the floor, countertops, tiles, etc. and leave it for the tenant to clean. My place wasn't even painted, they merely "touched up" after a tenant with a pet(s) lived there for god knows how long. It's an old building with issues that often plague old buildings like moisture, if you get ready to sign a lease, look out for the nifty little "Mold Waiver" and have a good laugh, but only a fool would sign such a thing. Either management can't afford the upkeep on the building, or they just don't want to spend the money in my opinion. The rent is cheap considering it's in the middle of everything so I guess you're paying for location. This place doesn't offer a single amenity, the front call box doesn't even work, and no laundry facility means you have to trek to the one up the street, which isn't in a great area. In the end, this is all the opinion and experience of someone who lived there, but I certainly in good conscience don't recommend this apartment complex.
