Moved here a few months ago from New York and needed a place close to work. Met a lot of new friends in the building hanging around the pool area. So far no issues, building is pretty clean and I had a leak that the maintenance guy fixed pretty quickly. I love how close it is to griffith park. Overall pretty happy here so far.

I've had a pretty good experience. The agent Ernest was extremely communicable. I moved in with everything I wanted done to the apartment completed. Joe the manager greeted me and I have been really happy since I moved in. My family came to visit recently and loves the building. The area is really nice as well since I can hike not far by Griffith.

I wasn't even able to view the apartment due to the unprofessional and rude response from their property management company. I would be careful of fake reviews, and talk to residents before moving here. Absolutely disgusting. Read the very detailed negative reviews, and know that these folks are not ok. If you also take a look at the sites where they post apartments, the same apartment(s) seem to always be for rent. Careful before signing a lease with these morons.

I moved in about 8 months ago. The building has been a pleasant surprise. I had my second thoughts reading some of the review but thought I would take a chance. So glad a did. Pretty quiet, met many neighbors in the building and close to my school. So far so good. BTW, Love waking up to my view every morning.

I have been here for about 15 months and finally a lot is being updated and changing. The onsite manager Joe is pretty responsive and maintenance is onsite a few days a week to address any issues. So far so good. Plan to say another year a two since it is a rent controlled property.

Great Location, had no problems with Joe the manager or Owners of the property. Maintenance guys were always nice and attentive. Would have stayed longer but job relocated. Recommended a friend who now lives there with his wife and kid.

I really cannot believe all the complaints in the previous reviews. My experience has been very pleasant. My unit is completely renovated, I have an excellent view of the mountains and the building is always quiet other than a dog bark every once and a while (It's an apartment building) that's to be expected. I love being close to Griffith Park and having some of the amenities of the building. All in all, this is going on my second year and I am a happy camper. There will always be someone complaining in an apartment living situation, if you're that unhappy you should considering moving into a house. Pretty Much It! :)

Been here for over a year. Part time staff onsite. Building is moderately clean. I love my apartment!!! No one bothers me. Neighbors are nice and centrally located to my job. If you are looking for a low key place and not too needy, this is a chill crib.

Im a travel nurse, stayed here for a 3 month assignment and I was very happy here. I love the location very close to a lot of site seeing. I used the business center for some work I had to do, nice views. Quiet property, clean, very nicely renovated units. I had a lovely fireplace in my unit which was very nice and cozy! I rented a furnished unit and everything was set up for me like a hotel but of course much better as i like to cook and really needed a kitchen. I will be coming again to CA and will love to stay here again :)

It's almost impossible to overstate how much I'd like to be able to keep anyone from ever renting here. The six months that I spent living at Los Feliz Plaza culminated in one of the most disturbing experiences that I've ever had as a tenant, which is saying a lot considering I've lived between NYC and LA for the past 15 years, and had thought that I'd seen it all. I'll start by saying that the other horror stories posted on Yelp are true, and I wish I would have heeded those warnings prior to signing a lease with this company. I accept my share of blame for living here, as I did read some of the Yelp postings and, rather than take them at face value, I allowed one of the leasing agents for LFP (------ is her name) to explain them away by saying that they were all written by disgruntled former "problem" tenants. Maybe I thought it wasn't possible that all of the things that I read posted here could be true. Maybe I was blinded by the stellar views from the higher floor apartments on the North side of the building or, maybe, I was duped and taken advantage of. It's not easy to admit but ultimately, I now understand that I was swindled by an unethical company with potentially criminal liability for the horror story that became the final month of my residency here. In early December of 2015, I became aware that I was the victim of identity theft. My SS number, birthday and address at LFP were all used to open lines of credit in my name. Several of these were retail cards with popular eCommerce sites. What I couldn't figure out was why it seemed that each line of credit was opened using my actual address. What I came to find out was this; these lines of credit were being used to make purchases of items that were being shipped to my LFP address and taken before I came home. Because I travel often, and work long hours when I'm in LA, I didn't realize what was happening. Once I became aware, I set a trap by placing an empty box on my doorstep (a box that was delivered when I happened to be home). The box contained product that was purchased with one of the fraudulent lines of credit. In less than 2 hours, I caught a person taking the box from my door and I got it on video with my phone. The person was followed and was seen exiting and reentering the building with keys. When I brought this all to the attention of LFP management (with the video to prove it), their lack of interest in trying to figure out who the person is was at best, unethical and at worst, criminally negligent. I posted photos of the package thief (and likely identity thief) in the building and they were removed within an hour. I asked to have the locks to the building changed and was told that this was "too difficult". I asked to have the locks to my apartment changed (since this person apparently knows my schedule and may have accessed my unit in order to get my ID information) and was told that this would happen but it never did. As the above nightmare unfolded, I began speaking with my neighbors to see if any of them recognized the package thief. No one did but, without exception, every person that I spoke to had the experience of having deliveries stolen from their doorsteps. No one else that I spoke with was the victim of ID theft, fortunately, but everyone seemed to have at least one experience with not receiving a package that they had confirmed was delivered. Due to the fact that ID theft is a felony, this is now being investigated by the LAPD Commercial Crimes division so with any luck, the owner of this horrible building (a woman named --------) will have to answer as to how the person that I caught stealing from my doorstep obtained keys to the building and how that person (or persons) may have obtained my personal information. As crazy as it sounds, one theory is that quite possibly this person is working in partnership with building management. The only time that I could remember giving my SS# to anyone in the past year was when I applied to live at LFP and they needed my personal information in order to process a credit check. To summarize: DO NOT LIVE HERE. The stress and expense that I've incurred by having to do all of the things necessary to stop the bleeding from the ID theft (and the moving expenses incurred by having to move out after it became clear that LFP management had no interest in helping to stop the felonious activities taking place on their property ) are substantial. The only way that I received my security deposit back in the legally mandated 21 days is because I had an attorney take over all communication with building management once I realized the severity of the situation in which I found myself. It's sad and frustrating to know that people that run businesses like this are able to prosper. This is truly and honestly a terrible company, a terrible building, and not worth the pain and suffering that you're likely to encounter should you decide to call LFP home.
