First of all, I Rctually gotta complain about the mgmt here.. ESPECIALLY the Korean lady named Sandy. If you have to live here, AVOID her at all cost.. She is just plain RUDE. The Petting is OKay.. its kinda old, PARKING is a nightmare and PEST problem!!!
Be aware.. those roaches will crawl all over your kitchen and when you kill them they would start invading your bedrooms.

The pool isn't bad, jacuzzi is just nasty (Wait, the water is YELLOW?? wow it must be some kind of natural spring water)
It's rather a resort than a apartment. If you feel such as you are in vacation on your routine life I insist you should move in here andjoin us. Everyday and evening we are able to enjoy the hot spa, gym, pool etc...

This Petting is a total joke, i was new to the city and the things they show you prior to your lease signing look like a dream come true. but once all the money has changed hands it's a completely different story.

1. Parking for guests is a joke, my friends won't come visit this Petting anymore, for a multitude of reasons, parking being a big one.

2. Bugs and roaches and stray cats everywhere! If you call maintenence they might spray within the week but the pests just keep coming back.

3. Overall workmanship is laughable. Running our dishwasher means water leeking all over the kitchen area and soaping up into the carpet. We had a pipe burst above us and upon calling maintenence day and night for 3 days they finally brought up some buckets and said "wait for it to dry out" Now You've got unsightly lines from water staining that i'm sure (along with the carpet) will come out of our security deposite. The front desk personel isn't any better.

4. Forget sleeping in or ever having a quiet night to yourself. From the unattended children running and screaming up and down the halls to the guy raking leaves off of concrete with a metal rake @ 6am to the supply company next door dropping metal all over the ground b4 the crack of dawn is Twful.

5. The general demonor of the residents here is unfriendly at best. If you've been out at a party or whatever and come back in @ 3am you can expect to find groups of teenagers sitting around smoking in the parking garages or next to the pools or pretty much anywhere you go. No-one holds elevators, picks up their own messes, throws out their trash properly or has even the slightest semblence of common curtosy. The walls are paper thin, and now that they want to raise rent rates they've trumped up noise complaints to get us evicted (my favorites were the one on st. patty's day when we were not home at any point that day, or the one that we apparently called on ourselves).

Live here if you feel like being abused and harassed, if you like the worst parking situation in the city, if you love the sound of little children screaming while being beaten with a belt, if you like tripping over randomn shopping carts that residents steal and leave in the hallways, if you like being shot the dirtiest glares for daring to ride the elevator with someone else (one That's painfully slow to mention), or you feel like your security is always in jeopardy.

As a longtime resident, Chadwick has really gone downhill in recent years due to poor management. I wouldn't recommend anyone move in here without a very good reason. I only hope they can somehow turn things around.

Apartment broken into, management refused to do nothing about it. No cameras outside, shady people walk into the gate at night every day. Windows from 1960s that are easy to break into. No lights or any way of anybody seeing someone break into the window, clear entry

mgmt needs improvement. You can barely talk to them over the phone unless you come to the office and ask for an audience. Previous mgmt use to be more engaged with residents. They use to do events to create a better community among residents. Elevator is ALWAYS broken. Other than that , we've been a resident here for quite sometime and as long as we keep to ourselves, the place is fine.

First of all, I would like to thank god for everything he has done for me. But I would also like to not thank him for making City Heights possible. Whoever drew up the blue prints for this complex should be arrested. The first step that I took on the premesis killed a rather large roach! That right there gave me second thoughts. It seriously looked like a rat. Okay, take a walk with me along the side paths that practically go through someones apartment. Look right, they're eating dinner. Look left, oops! They're having SEX! Sounds like a perfect place for children to grow up and get good educations. Look straight and see 4 cats running at you, then turn back and trip over someone else's bag of garbage! It kind of seems like an obstacle course. Of course it might sound funny but let the truth be told! I've been living here for about 4 months and I like the fact that they have 2 out-dated work out areas with half of the equiptment out-of-order. Also, they have 2 pools which are cleaned on a daily basis, but try to get your swim in at about 7am. Any other time kids own the pool. The question is, where are the parents? Maybe they just came from outside of the complex. So shouldn't security take care of that. Hell No! Security here at City Heights is worse then rent-a-cops paid to gaurd church activities! But anyhoo, how about those vending machines. You have to love the convenience factor of taking a short stroll (depending on which building your residing in) to the vending machines and have a nice variety of drinks to choose from. Ahhahah! All sold out. All of those choices but none to choose from. But what makes that even worse is half of them don't give your change back even if the drink is sold out. So your either picking a different drink (which you could be allergic too) or letting the machine take advantage of you everytime. Hmmmm........ shouldn't they post signs that say USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! Back to the roaches. Good lord I have never seen roaches that could mutate that big. So I called the leasing office to get someone to spray or do something about it. Guess what? It took them about a month to finally come over and do what they like to call " Fumigate ". Pfffff, please, it took less than 5 minutes to do and it took less than that for the roaches to come back with more friends. It's just disturbing to know that roaches are sleeping with you in bed. Oh! wait a minute There's a plus to all this truth. You get free donuts every sunday. It starts around 10am or so and it's all gone by 10:30am. But it's free so who's complaining. Not me because I can't even wake up that early. The korean lady above us always calling security on us. Saying that our radio is too loud, or we're talking too loud, or we have too many people over. Oh my God, just because her life is almost finished doesn't mean the world has to be quiet. So think about all that has been said and rethink about your contract with City Heights. The basketball courts, tennis courts, pools, hot tubs, broke down golf range, sauna's, out-dated work out areas, sold out vending machines, 1st floor balcanies, secret paths through other peoples homes, kids running through hallways at all times of the night, over-crowded parking lots, security paid to don'thing, roach infested, cat sheltering place which is supposed to be a gated community accompanied by free donuts every Sunday will probably not be enough for you to choose City Heights as the place to live for awhile. The truth has been gladly brought to you by Confucious. Questions and comments about my opinion please feel free to e-mail me at
[email protected]. My comments and opinions are derived from experience and the time from living at City Heights and is an effort to help people see the truth behind the contracts. Thank you for reading.

Im a new tenant to The Chadwicks . I had a few tiny issues and 1 concern and the office staff has been helpful and tried to get all my problems resolves. They have fix it up to 90 percent so im happy about that . Other then that the tenants here are pretty mellow . Some are friendly and some are quiet indiviudals . The place is always clean up and maintain. I am excited for the sun to come out and enjoy my summer apartment . This place is beyond cool to host gathering . Though you got to follow rules which are basic rules . The parking for guest isn't great here . I recommend for uber or parking at a parking structure. so far so good .
