PLEASE PLEASE READ.. This place may seem nice but it is not. Do not move here. 1.It is not safe. The gate is always broken. They have these large trees in front of the building where homeless people hide, do drugs and drink. I have found needles and crack pipes on the front door step before. The lights in the front never work. My girlfriend never wanted to walk along at night because of this. 2. The building smells like cat pee. 3. NO PARKING EVER on the street. When i moved in asked about the parking. The manager said lots of parking on the street. NOT TRUE...you will drive around for no less then 20 minutes and sometimes up to 45 minutes looking for a spot. It is so BAD. 4. The laundry room is always out of order due to plumbing issues. (Sewer backing up and filling the area with nastiness.) 5. The elevator never is working. 6. The building is full of lead. When you move in you have to sign a paper that states the building is full of lead and you will not sue if you get sick. 7.Homeless people always in front of the building drinking, sleeping and smoking. 8.THE GANGS..The street has 3 different gangs who are always spray painting up the street. 9. Had my car broke into twice. Broke the window and took my sunglasses the first time. The second time they just broke the window. 10. You can hear the neighbor every move. The walls are so thin that you listen to what ever show they are watching. 11. They will INCREASE THE RENT EVERY YEAR. They are not on rent control so it will go up 100 DOLLARS a year. I could go on and on about how bad this place is but i'll leave you with this. The apartments look great but don't be fooled like I was. I hope this is helpful

I moved into my apartment in late February and so far things have been great! The building is quiet and my issues are resolved FAST. The tenants are awesome and friendly. We always run into each other when walking our dogs... The apt. is located in Hollywood, close to the Scientology building bordering Little Armenia and Thai Town. The only complaint would be street parking. It's hard for guests to find parking if they're trying to visit you! Lame.

I've been living in this building for 8 months now and I am terribly disturbed by not only my manager but the whole management company. First of all, I have NO PHONE NUMBER to contact my management company. All I have is a 1800 number to call. Someone on the other end of the phone takes down my message and sends it by fax to the actual management company and they decide if they want to contact me or not. Secondly, there is a serious jerk for an onsite manager. he has been rude to me many times, can never be found around the building and specifically said he didn't want any tenants calling his cell phone after the first week of move in. He talks to me like a child and even lies to my mother ( who co signed the lease with me) trying to make me out to be a liar. Third, there are 20 apartments in this building. There are also 20 parking spaces. I do not have a car, therefore I am not allowed to have my parking space. It's in the lease that we are allotted a parking space, but I can't have mine. I was almost mugged walking home with my friend after spending an hour at 4am trying to find a parking space. I have even seen my building manager let HIS FRIEND use the parking space when she came over to visit. He said I could use the parking space but I had to call him first and schedule time to use the parking space. WTF?!?!?! Fourth, The building is constantly needing repairs. The intercom was broke for the first 4 months I lived here, now there is no lock on the front door so no one can get into the building ( I had to scale the building up to the first floor to get in) Also, I was told my apartment was internet ready, and yet I still have no internet. I had the repair guy come out 3 times, each time a different person,rewired my whole set up, and yet all 3 came to the same conclusion, that it was a BUILDING PROBLEM and I would be unable to get service until the building did something. I told my building manager and he said I should switch internet providers because there was nothing wrong with the building.....again....WTF!??!! Don't get me wrong, I love the people that live in the building and I love my apartment, I just hate the people that run it.

I have truly enjoyed living in this building and I am sad to leave but it is time to move on. The tenants in the building for the most part are wonderful. <br> <br>There is a new manager: Dan deBerry and he is a wonderful person. <br> <br>If you are looking for a small quiet building then this is the one for you.
