Worst property management that you could possibly deal with! Stay away from them or else, they steal half or all of your security deposit! Same as what they did to us! We gave them $500 and received $300 back! The check even came after the 21 days, which is the legal time to receive the security deposit back. We even had to fight to get it! Jacklyn Moreno (In Los Angeles) was our property manager and she is the rudest, most unprofessional person you could ever deal with! We stayed at their property for 2 years and always paid rent on time and finally they stole half of our deposit. She even started renovations before we were out (we signed a move out notice and gave it to her). Worse than that, she charged us $160 for cleaning, while she told it is only $80 (her excuse was that we left items behind): we did not leave anything behind, we were in the process of moving out, and she just came in and threw away our items including vacuum cleaner and other valuable items, and then claimed that we have to pay $80. They can never be trusted. Moreno did not even come get the keys from us personally, she asked me to leave it on the kitchen counter! That's how unprofessional they are! So, she did not see that we only left one set of the keys there, not both! So, she legally did not have the right to enter the apartment and start renovations! As Moreno was so rude and unprofessional and did not want to deal with anything and accept her mistake, I contacted ISM management directly through email and phone and talked with another person name Steffanie Donor. She was even worse, but at least she understood that they made a mistake by starting renovations before we moved out, so she came up with the idea that we gave possession earlier. So according to law, she compensated us for the last day of the month, because she knew they could get into trouble for their mess. Overall, they are so rude, they yell at you on the phone, they are never present to answer you, nor they want to! They are entitled and unprofessional. They never give rights to the customers and try their best to bring you down to cover their mess. Be aware!
