The manager is horrible! Jacob is the most horrible person I have ever communicated with! They over promised and are sooooo rude when things happen. When we signed the contract in March, everything seems fine. They said my roommate and I can move in on July 15th. I confirmed with them because my current contract ends on Aug 1st. They said no problem. When I called them again on July 15th, they said they said no such ----. OMG I don't know how they could talk with tenants like this! They said the earliest move-in date is 24th. When 24th came, Jacob checked the room with my roommate and said they needed another 2 days to do the painting and asked us the come back on 27th. I don't want to trust them again. But the last trial is on July 30th. When I called them again to get the keys. He said without any guilt that the contract started from Aug 1st and we couldn't get keys until Aug 1st! I said you had to give at least 1 day for tenants to move in. He interrupted me and said but tomorrow was not Aug 1st. I can't bare their bad attitude anymore. I have never seen any property manager acted like that. Only because their rents are slightly lower, so they can treat students like that?! Today I also got a message from friend that she also got upset with them because of the maintenance request. They waited for a month until finally someone came. I don't want to live there anymore and advice none of my friends to do so.

The apartment I lived was very dirty and high priced. The manager was rude and usually ignored what I said when I called for maintenance. Apartment was very old and neglected. They seemed nice until you signed the contract. Once you signed the contract and pay the deposit, they don't care anymore. They charged extra money from my deposit and they didn't even come to check my apartment. I had a bad experience with Nupac and I don't recommend this company to anyone.

I really enjoyed my stay at Nupac. I lived in the 738 building on W.27th. The management is friendly and very helpful. My apartment was very spacious and close to campus. I highly recommend Nupac to any one looking for housing. Also, I was able to get my full deposit when checking out which was very important to me. I've had some really terrible landlords so this was a nice change. Nupac is a great choice for your housing needs.

It's not the best. I would highly recommend trying to find a different place first. I lived at 909 W 30th and it was one issue after another. The manager is nice and always remembers people's names but he lacks follow through professionalism and doesn't have control over his maintenance staff nor does he care about the building. Make sure your apartment has Internet hookups and that all appliances work. I called to have him put an connection in my wall after hours of talking to him (he didn't know the aparents didn't have one). This was two months ago. The maintenance person came once, then said he would be right back to put it in. After three hours of waiting I called and he said he had no I te room of coming back. The manager was less than helpful and to this day I still get my Internet through an open window rather than a built in wall unit. I should note that it's state law to have the connection available. On top of this- the maintenance person and manager completely ignore my phone calls now and do their best to avoid me. Due to the window being open always- I've experiences pest issues on a number of occasions which they assume isn't their problem. The balcony door and the laundry room doors are always stuck shut and unable to be opened because of the shady hardware work so if you think you'll have an easy time getting anything fixed- think twice. The laundry room is disgusting and charges three times as much as the laundromat across the street, but the washer and dryer barely clean anything. They have a woman come vacuum the carpet in the hallway once a week- usually early in the morning which wakes a lot of tennents up because the walls are paper thin. The carpet was cleaned but it's disgusting. The shower pressure is decent. The sink constantly spots out brown and red water so make sure you have a filter. All in all- try for other places. It's not a horrible place to love- it's just VERY frustrating.

It will be nice if they also take care of pest issues. I've been bothered by bed bugs for the past few days. But the manager simply dismissed my request of sending someone to do some spraying. He told me that they only take care of roaches now, and I should go to home depot, buy the supplies and do the pest control myself. This was just unbelievable.

I lived in 710 W 27th Street(college view). The apartment was very clean and the manager is a very genuine person. Very close to all the eateries and close to tram stop for students. Place for cricket as well. Generally, a very good place

I am a current resident of 909 West 30th, One of Nupac Property. I am very satisified with management. Office and maintenance staff is very friendly. You call in for maintenance, it is done same day. At times there is a problem with main line, but I guess it is not management fault, they fix it right away and one time I saw Saul (maintenance guy) pulling plastic bag from line. Location, right accross football field and 5 min walk to School If you are looking for housing, Nupac is place to be at.

Sure, the manager was nice, but the place itself? Awful. The first day I moved in, I noticed there was a severe roach infestation - they were literally crawling out of the walls. When I called to complain they claimed that they had already sprayed my unit, but they said they'd send an exterminator over immediately. Surprise, surprise: when he got there he said that he'd never gotten a call to spray my unit. The appliances are very old and often broken (the garbage disposal never worked for the two years I was there - the maintenance request was never answered) and when they do construction on the building, they never let tenants know (I was left without running water for hours at a time on multiple occasions with no warning because they were working on units in the building). They would also perform construction on my unit with little to no warning - I can only remember one time where I was actually told in advance they'd be doing something to my apartment, and the construction guys left the place a mess. I recall having my toilet mysteriously replaced as I was at class - the new toilet was nice, but the idea that some maintenance guy was in my apartment without my knowledge is just...creepy. Parking is terrible as well; in order to leave my spot I had to back out all the way to the street - that is, if neighbors weren't using the parking lot for recreation. The seeming niceness of the landlord isn't worth it - find somewhere else to live.

I lived in a Nupac apartment for three years. The rent was affordable and Nupac's staff is helpful and responsive. I would recommend Nupac to any student looking to rent in the USC neighborhood!
