Palazzo West was an absolute nightmare to live in. Never live here. My car was broken into with thousands of dollars worth of damage despite being in the locked garage. The management team is impossible to get ahold of and will refuse to return any calls or emails if you have any issues. I tried to dispute a charge and the management wouldn’t talk to me and essentially threatened to send me to collections and bullied me into paying it despite the previous management team saying they would remove the charge. I told them I would pay the charge I just wanted to talk to management about it and they refused. I never post negative or positive reviews, but I felt it was important because if I had read any reviews like this, I would never have moved here.

Area is great and grounds are beautiful but without a doubt would never live here again. There’s no way to emergency maintenance or security, no phone number to call that connects you to your landlord. Their emergency lines hang up on you before you can leave a message. Palazzo incorrectly installed our stove during a routine repair and had gas pumping into the house for over a day, when we noticed the smell ended up having to call SoCal Gas since no one here would pick up. People that live here will constantly park in your assigned spot despite the ludicrous price tag to live and park at the Palazzo West, nothing will be done about it, there is no one to reach out to.

If I could give security practice less then 1 star I would unfortunately I can’t nor post videos of my crazy neighbor screaming at my front door having a conversation with herself or the email exchange with the person running the building placing all responsibility on us to call the cops each time she does this. In the last several weeks there’s been multiple encounters with this crazy person. $4k+ in rent not worth it. Customer service from them has been extremely horrible given the position they have put me and my roommates in. To not even offer added security for the building is such a disappointment. Not the safe or luxury experience advertised. Only alternatives given are to move apartments and pay more rent. Seems fair doesn’t it given what they put us through. They also expect 60 days notice if we want to move I mean come on basically forcing us to live next to this crazy lady. I understand they are taking legal actions and performing psych evaluations. But anyone who’s lived in LA knows it takes forever to have some evicted.

I don't even know where to start with these people. Other then saying they are unprofessional and waste your time. I applied for a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit here, a little over $3900 a month. They wanted proof of income, proof of current address and so much more. I provided them with my paystubs which shows I make over $200,000 a year. That wasn't enough and they wanted bank statements, which I provided. That wasn't enough either! We kept going back and forth until I finally said screw them and applied with another Greystar property (which I currently live at here in Hawaii). Was approved on the spot with them, only $500 deposit Vs. the $1500 this property wanted and get 2 months free rent. AVOID PALAZZO WEST AT ALL COST! They will waste your time and want you to provide things to them that is NONE of their business!

I recently enquired into this property location after looking at the lovely pictures and viewed several videos that were showcased by the Community Manager Chase Sherbert who I felt did an excellent job representing Palazzo West Luxury Apartments. However after discovering a very detailed and informative REVIEW that was posted by one of the residents David Hsu on the Palazzo West Apartment Website, I contacted the local Police Department at LAPD-Wilshire Division and spoke with one of the Patrol Officers who put me in touch with an Officer who provided me with confirmation of David Hsu comments regarding criminal activity and Police response to the Palazzo West location. The Officer confirmed that several cars were stolen at this location and there were numerous complaints of thefts and break and enters along with some other criminal complaints. After hearing this from Police and also discovering that the Property Management has failed to address serious security concerns (apparently there is an entry gate for cars that is open all the time and anybody can just wander on to the property), in addition management dis-continued security guard services because of so called "cut backs" raises a bigger question! This property is very expensive to live at and quite frankly Aircommunities should be setting a better standard to ensure that the residents are safe and secure and regardless of the cost, spending those extra dollars demonstrates their commitment to providing a safe environment for its residents and prospective visitors to the property. This is Los Angeles and we ALL know that there is a homelessness problem throughout the City and Aircommunities needs to be proactive and take the necessary steps to stay ahead of these issues and protect its investments. In closing I called the Corporate Office for Palazzo West and spoke with one of the staff and asked to speak directly with Adam Schultz who is the Vice President of Operations for Los Angeles. I felt that it was important to have a serious conversation about one of his properties and share with him my findings and hopefully Mr. Schultz would make the appropriate calls and oversee what needs to be done for one of his buildings in his portfolio. Mr. Schultz who's in Maryland apparently has better things to do instead of looking after one of his properties! I guess he likes to kiss the bosses --- and hang out with the brass playing golf. He NEVER bothered to return my calls and instead passed it back to Chase Sherbert to deal with from the actual building I was calling about! In my respectful opinion that is so unprofessional and Chase Sherbert, as nice as he is he is not the person to authorize the hiring of an armed security team, the implementation of more cameras and surveillance and overall budget improvements for the property. That role comes from above, usually Head Office that typically steps in to make changes and to problem solve. I actually feel bad for Chase Sherbert who has a lot on his plate already juggling tenant issues and conducting Community Tours and other related property matters. I have now decided to look at other upscale property locations that I can call home when I move to Los Angeles. Thank you very much and I'm really not interested in a response from Management on this posting, it will only be a futile attempt to deflect and deny any of my comment's as we all know the truth! Don't we Palazzo West!!

My experience with the Palazzo staff was amazing. What a beautiful place to live. I would suggest this residence to anyone looking for a place in West Hollywood. You will not be disappointed with the location or living.

THEFT, BREAK INS, UNSAFE, NO SECURITY, DIRTY, BROKEN DOWN, BAD MANAGER. Chase is a bad manger who does not know how to deal with customers. Many people have left these apartments because of him. Do not move here if he is still working there. He will be one of the main reason you'll regret moving there. He is unfair and dishonest. The gates in the back of the apartments are wide open and anyone can drive in. Theft is very common because there is no security. There is one gate opening person. Nothing is open in this community. Everything is closed down and they still will not lower rents. People here pay more for the pool and the gym. Those have been closed all year. The positive reviews are fake. Read all the one star reviews. The manager and the management do not take the health and concerns of the residents seriously. They even stopped properly cleaning the building months ago. Move to a nice new community that can be found anywhere in LA. You will pay a lot and only be treated poorly.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! We have been living here since 2019, we have had lots and lots of issues with our unit but in general with the community. We've had numerous complaints and nothing ever gets done. We've reached out to everyone including the District Manager and they've done nothing about any of our issues. Ever since Chase(Property Manager) has taken over, this place has turned into for a lack of better words, a sh** show. The property is beautiful as is but when it's not maintained then it's not good. Chase is as corporate as a corporate person can get. When you call something your home you'd expect not to receive corporate responses. It's quite sad that someone in Chase's position can make your home a living hell. The property really offers no breaks for anything so I would highly recommend not moving here. It's certainly NOT worth the money.

The worst apartment. Don't move in this apartment. Upstairs started running and throwing something on the floor at 8 am. We have been complaining to management for 1 month. They haven't done anything. Management keep saying this is normal noise. Situation is worse and worse. We just want to move out because they can't solve the problem. They told that we have to pay early termination fee if we want to move out. What a great management !!! Do Not move in this apartment. We are in hell now...... I finished my work at 6 pm. I am still in my office because I don't want to go to home. running... throwing... my little dog barking....... How dreadful!
