OK. I heard this place was bad before I moved in. I should have heeded the warnings. IT IS, HANDS DOWN, THE ABSOLUTE, WORST LIVING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! (And I have lived in some ---- hole hostels in some bad parts of Hawaii, and i tell you this is way worse). The Management company is non-existent. We had a leak coming from our bathroom room ceiling and the management company took 2 days to send someone to fix it. I'm not talking about a little "drip-drip" leak, Im talking about it was raining in our bathroom. I called them, they sent people over to fix it 2 days later and then, after it was "fixed" it started leaking again. So they had to come over again. this is the 3rd day already. The apartment is getting damp because of the water that was everywhere, it was disgusting. Then, 1 month later the sink starts leaking. Again, im not talking about a clog, I'm saying the water was spouting out of the sink like a fire hydrant. This is a sunday, so I call the management company, and no one picks up. So instead of calling the plumber, which was is in my rights as a tenant to do, I do the kind thing and go up to the Landlord (the owner of the property who lives directly above us, BIG MISTAKE) and ask what he would like me to do as this is HIS PROPERTY that is being WATER DAMAGED. He makes me wait at the front of the door for 4 minutes while he hides his family like I'm a rapist or something. Opens the door, looks me up and down and says "what do you want, why did you come here". I tell him the situation and he says "did you call the office". I say "yes, there is no one there". His response is " yea its Sunday, no one will be there. you need to shut the water off or figure it out yourself. Don't you ever come to my door ever again, I do not deal with this stuff the management does". HELLO ------- A-HOLE! this is your property and YOUR MANAGEMENT COMPANY! YOU"RE THE PRESIDENT AND CEO. So I start asking around about this major ------ bag of a landlord and find out some interesting stuff. See..I'm armenian, and turns out, the landlord is also armenian, and usually armenians run in the same click. Turns out this guy is deemed to be a MAJOR A-HOLE in the Armenian Community. I HAD ONE WOMAN BREAK DOWN IN TEARS DESCRIBING WHEN SHE HAD TO WORK UNDER THIS GUY. She said he was PSYCHOPATH, and I believe it. Apparently he underpays and over works everyone who works for him. The people he hires to do all of the maintenance are day-laborers (there's nothing wrong with being a day laborer, but if you don't know anything about plumbing and building, you can't really call yourself a legit plumber). So they don't know what the hell they're doing. they just figure it out but hanging out all day TRYING TO REPAIR and FAILING MISERABLY. The Parking Garage is a nightmare. They say "Gated Parking" but the Gate is ALWAYS BROKEN. they have a camera on one parking spot, and guess who's car that might be? THE LANDLORD's! how convenient! People who parked in here got their cars jacked more often then people who parked on the street. The management company would send over their brainless electricians, who aren't really electricians, to try and fix the gate but it would break that same week. the PARKING GATE was ALWAYS BROKEN! NOW to the NOISE. the ------- NOISIEST APARTMENT EVER!. the damn landlord lived above us, and his ------- little brat kids would run NON-STOP until 11pm at night and all you could hear was running, from 6am-11pm EVERYDAY! so annoying. it was impossible to get any real quiet time. Here is the best part. there is a no pet policy. BUT if you read any legal documents about tenant rights, if a pet is prescribed by a medical doctor to serve as a companion dog, the land lord's must make an acceptation to the no animal policy. Well my room mate had a small dog that was prescribed by a medical doctor for that purpose exactly. The law says that you can charge up to 1000$ for a pet deposit, or up to at least 2 months rent of an unfurnished apartment. So we send them all the documentation and they tell us that we can keep the dog, if we put down a NON REFUNDABLE $3,000 deposit for the DOG...? ---- YOU! we already put down $3000, and they can max out the deposit at $4,500. So we tell them this. Infact WE HAVE A LAWYER CALL and try to kindly talk to the management company. THEY WERE -------S TO US. THE LAWYER EVEN SAID IT. when he asked to speak with their lawyer, because he wanted to try and work something out, the Lady at the management company FLIPPED THE ---- OUT! Sent us an EVICTION NOTICE!!! to get rid of the dog or get out. ---- YOU! ITS AGAINST THE LAW, WE're NOT PAYING a SECURITY DEPOSIT OF $6000!!! NEXT ....they decided to raise the rent $400 for every apartment. No notice, nothing, everyone had to leave. HERE IS THE KICKER.....THIS ALL HAPPENED in a SPAN OF ....3 MONTHS!!!! ALL THESE PROBLEMS IN 3 MONTHS!!!!! so if you want to live here, you're probably an idiot. But if you do, prepare to be in UTTER ------- HELL! ---- THIS PLACE, ---- THE LANDLORD, ---- THE MANAGEMENT COMPAY!!!! the tenants we're so cool though....I will say that...too bad they all moved out when the rent was raised. SO the people now suck too! OHH!! and we DID NOT GET THE DEPOSIT BACK!!! AND THEY OVER CHARGED US FOR THE CREDIT CHECK BY 50$ also Illegal!!!

This has been the worst place I've lived at so far. As the other poster has noted, they will charge for everything. They don't understand the phrase, "wear and tear" as they are charging us to clean the carpets that were not cleaned before we moved in over 6 years ago!! On top of that, they're charging $80 to replace 4 of those really cheap verticle blinds that break just from being sunbaked. Thieves!! Even when they do repair stuff it doesn't work. There is parking, but at your own risk. Under our spots there are leaks from pipes oozing some chemical that will kill your car paint. Also, quite a few cars have been broken into since I've been there. There is also this community BBQ area which has never been fixed to use since I've lived here. Worst management ever really. I remember getting a letter that said they would charge $50 for every non-emergency call to the office. Ha! Amazing. I'll be moving out of here soon. Ohh..They will raise the rent every year, which they're allowed to do, but many places won't do that..

Do not rent here. They will take your money and then give you a place which may look nice on the outside but God forbid anything break, good luck! The roof leaked into our place and it took them so long to fix it there was mold growing in the carpet. Then they claimed to fix it and the next rainy season it leaked again. They will also try to KEEP ALL YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT!!!! We are still fighting to get it back. They will try to charge all cleaning fees separate and then tell you things were really dirty when they didn't even work - like the fireplace. Also they claimed a microwave was really dirty and the place didn't even come with one! STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES! There is gated parking but the gate was locked open most of the time and cars got broken into! Also, the video cameras only point at the owner's unit and cars... wonder what he's so worried about?!?!
