On site manager and overall management company is not only unprofessional, but exhibits unlawful and discriminatory behavior. Elena Calmus makes for an extremely hostile environment and is misleading, won’t answer questions, and pretends to use her accent as a language barrier when things go wrong and confuses things “lost in translation”. Incorrectly run and charge you for a credit scan, talk crap behind your back to your roommate - anything to dissuade you and the people you wish to live with (though you may be approved) from living there to personally and selectively choose her tenants (neighbors) which is an illegal means of the rental process. Also refused to answer normal and common questions interested applicants have while viewing a unit, talked down as if you’re dumb for asking about maintenance requests, security deposit and move out procedures, and responded that these “were concerns I clearly had so I shouldn’t even be interested in this building and move on.” Would not give me full tour of amenities such as pool, laundry, etc.

You will save yourself and those you love a lot of grief by not living here. Pros: Neighbors in other parts of the building generally friendly, apartment itself is decent for the price Cons: Walls/Floors/Ceilings are absolutely the thinnest I have ever experienced. I've my whole life in apartment buildings and have never had a worse experience than this place. You can hear EVERY thing that happens above, next to and below you. EVERYTHING. Sneezes, TVs, conversations (even if they're talking at a low volume), door slam all day and night. Management used to be good, but has changed in the past year and has gone way downhill. They refuse to repair or replace anything in your apartment, stating "Anything within your apartment is your responsibility". This includes any plumbing problems, damage from previous occupancy, speciality lightbulbs you will have to special order, etc. Nothing is their responsibility, it's all yours. They are supposed to have amenities: gym, heated pool, hot tub and sauna. They have none of them. Pool is not heated, sauna and hot tub have been broken the entire time I lived here (over 5 years) and gym doesn't consist of any working equipment. You will not get any of your security deposit back EVEN IF you follow their move out instructions to the letter, ask them to do a walk through to approve it's in the state they need to return your whole deposit and they agree you've done everything they require. You'll still get a letter detailing all the things they are docking you for that weren't listed on the move out instructions or by them in person when they inspected the place. For instance, they're taking most of the deposit to "re-paint" when the lease states if you've lived there for over three years you aren't responsible for that. VERY DISHONEST. You may take these are the rantings of an ex-tenant, but if you ask around to anyone who lives there, you'll find they agree. Do yourself a favor, prevent the headache and avoid this place.

Elevator seems to be broken every week. They also allow broken down cars to be in the garage with expired tags as well. Very loud community, but is expected to be when it is just a block from Sunset Blvd.

Horrbile management!! They are crazy, disrepectful, and completely manipulative and unprofessional. They treat people as though they have no rights and I would NEVER reccomend this building. Bad energy - management creeps around your doors. And enters at unappropriate times. They are money hungry and do not know how to run a business or deal with people as human beings.

My family lives in this apartments building for 8 years and we are very pleased with Marcia (the manager) and the overall experience here. The pool is always clean and heated (from April to October-November). If something isn't working you fill out the form by the mail boxes and everything is fixed within days, sometimes hours. The neighbors are nice. The price is reasonable and the service is great. What else to ask for? There is no pets policy and it's very very strict. Many friends loved my place and told me that they would move in if they had a chance. Very positive experience. I would strongly recommend this apartments building to everyone.
