I'd give this place a negative star review if I could. The management is terrible and just wants your money. Janet in particular is rude, condescending and ignorant. Not only does she fail in being knowledgeable about the building she is "managing" (I use quotes because she doesn't do anything when there is an issue that either her team or she personally caused) but her customer service is incredibly lacking. If you hate your job that much quit and don't take it out on tenants with your disrespectful tone. She doesn't know any of the building policies when you ask her about them and lacks any type of critical thinking skills to produce basic solutions for issues that arise. She also lacks accountability for her own oversights and mistakes and lies straight through her teeth in an attempt to cover her own incompetence. Her writing and grammatical skills are also subpar. I thought I was having a stroke when I tried to read an email she sent me only to discover she has the reading comprehension of a rock. Speak slowly and with as much simplicity as you can if you ever encounter her and I guarantee you she will still mess something up and be unhelpful. She is incredibly skilled when it comes to telling you what she doesn't do. Save yourself time and just ask her what she actually does - the list is far shorter. Spoiler alert it's nothing. She's incapable of resolving or accomplishing anything. The security is a crap shoot. Some guards let anyone in while others are better. On a positive note - the neighbors are really nice and the concrete structure doesn't let much noise into your apartment. Janet, if you manage to learn how to read and see this: you suck at your job and are a waste of space. Ambassador Towers - Fire her and get someone who actually knows the building and its policies. Management can make or break your tenants' experiences and she is certainly bringing this place down.

Moved here in 2010. I thought the building and staff were nice, but realized the staff blows. Really not sure what Sean or the secretary does there, but every time I came down to their office, they were either eating or surfing on craigslist. Jessica is useless too. They all live in the building, so pretty sure they get what they want and don't care about the residents. If you read this, go to another apartment, like Versailles. Can't believe this place is owned by the owner of the Clippers.

I lived here in 99-2000. It was the Mark Wilshire back then. I loved it. I was on the top floor, in 2007 if I remember right.I think I paid $870 back then. The location was great. I could walk almost everywhere. The only time I drove was to go to work. The heat and AC did stink. The only control you have over it is on or off. If the building has the heat turned on, you can't get AC, and vice-versa. Back then the security staff was awesome. I became friends with a couple of them. It could be a little noisy, but that is to be expected because of the location. Being on the top floor, I would hear helicopters all night long. It didn't bother me though. I was in 1 earthquake while living there. Being up high meant the building was wobling for what felt like 2 minutes. I enjoyed it though! I remember the walls being thin. I could hear my neighbors having sex, but the good news was that it never lasted longer than 30 seconds!!!

I loved this place. I lived pretty high up on the south side. The view was spectacular. I lived in a 1 bedroom apartment and it was spacious. I divided my living room into 2 sections - 1 for the entertainment area (TV and sofa) and the other half is my office. And it still didn't look crowded at all. One complaint that I do have is the AC is central to the entire complex. That means the switch will either activate the heater or the ac. It depends on the how they set it for that time. Another complaint I have is that you can't have a dog or cat. People that lived there before they changed the rules are able to keep their pets but for new tenants, no pets whatsoever. So I would recommend this place. I miss it greatly. I had a lot of memories there. Oh I forgot to mention they have a rooftop pool and gym. Also, since I lived far up, I could still hear the noise from the streets but I didn't mind it at all. That's part of living in the city :-)

I lived in this building for about 6 years and loved it. It did have it's problems but I met some of the most interesting people and the view from the 15th floor was incredible. These apartments are really a nice size too. I really miss my old apartment and Los Angeles and if I could move back I would. The staff was always very friendly.

The biggest problem here is the thieving staff. I've watched the Super and his family strip an apartment when a tenant dies within 24 hours. When I moved out, I accidentally left a silver chafing dish, an antique clock and a bunch of vintage photographs in a cabinet. When I realized what I had done a few days later, I contacted the building staff and they claimed that the one mentally-impaired staffer had "thrown it all away." What a crock.

Very Noisy at all hours and Slow Repairs. Definitely not worth the price. Waiting for lease to end soon.
