i just moved to this place, i got an apartment on the 4th floor and everything has been pretty good since i moved from AZ... The Office crew has been very nice and supportive to me, they have always responded all my questions me and my boyfriend, the maintenance team have responded right away effectively after i had an issue or a need in my apartment, and YES, I would recommend this place to make it your home, i only wish the community around, i mean, my neighbors were more friendly, it doesn't cost nothing to smile and say hello right?

ncredibly disappointed. just moved to LA from Chicago and, when i came out in march to look at apartments everything i saw was total ----. so when i found this place i could not have been happier! great amenities (pool, hot tub, gym, underground parking, etc) plus, i'm a grad student at USC so the fact that HP is only 3(ish) miles from campus was great! well, i moved in to a unit on the FOURTH FLOOR on june 1 and since then we have had MULTIPLE instances of cockroaches, and two mice. i am MORTIFIED. moreover, before the first mouse spotting, one of my friends from chicago decided to move into the same building... a few weeks ago i was helping her move in on the first floor and i noticed a sign posted regarding some recent robberies. i marched right into the leasing office and asked why we weren't notified, on the 4th floor, that there were robberies in the building? they said 'it would take too long to post the notices around the entire building'... REALLY!? it was just yesterday that i came home from an incredibly long day only to find my cat in the living room, proudly presenting to me the mouse he had conquered and killed... i only wish i had read the reviews more clearly before signing the lease because with school starting up now i dont know if i'll be able to find a new place and afford moving out. side note: YES, the people who work in the leasing office are incredibly - i absolutely love all of them (don, joseph, michele, etc)... but, in my opinion, that does not come close to making up for the irritation and stress of bugs and mice IN MY FOURTH FLOOR APARTMENT. and now i have to go get my cat another rabies shot.

This is the first time I rent an apartment by myself. I knew nothing. The staff helped me step by step filling the application form patiently. When I move in, I feel this apartment looks like my home. The floor plan is nice, the room is clean and neat. I like the environment, especially the swimming pool and gym. The location is good too. It is very convenience, I often go shopping by walking. I have not found bugs yet, this is what I worried before I moved in (because I know some apartments have bugs). Every time, I have any question, I just ask them by phone or go to the office directly. I plan to live here long.

Everyday I woke up seeing roaches in my kitchen. They make you think they fixed it but it doesn't go away. There are other bug problems as well. You can hear people walking above from the ceiling all the time.

I lived here for 2 years and it was the worst place to live EVER! First they have a very bad bug problem. My neighbor had ticks, bed bugs and roaches. I found two big roaches on separate occasions trying to crawl under my door! Then one summer they had a bad termite issue (flying termites) and it took management 2 months to resolve! The management is horrible! I called them several times about the termite issue and they kept postponing the bombing! There are a lot of homeless people that dig in the trash can all hours of the day and night! The trash can is next to the elevator so it is very scary coming in at night being a woman. I told them about that issue and nothing was done. They could put a lock on the door where the trash shoot is, but no, They rather have homeless people roaming around the community. Then someone tried to break into my car was unsuccessful and they actually stole someone else s car! I had a card from the cops on my car asking me to call them. Lastly they gave me my security check back with most of my money (the only good thing) and it BOUNCED!!!!!! They are too broke to cover a 1500 dollar check! I would never recommend this place! Not even to my worst enemy!

I've looked and looked about the 100s of apartment homes in Korea Town. I finally settled at Hampshire Place because I felt it was the cleanest and well kept community. I love the attention that they give their residents. I had a couple of minor problems when I moved in but they immediately sent maintenance over and fixed it. I LOVE THIS PLACE!! The office staff is very top notch.

I have lived in Hampshire Place for two years and I would not recommend them. They have pluming problems which are not being addressed. The pipes contain a black sludge that drains into your dish washer and your sink. You complain about basic things and they respond with excuses. The parking is also deplorable, no handicap parking, poor accessibility to the mail box and God forbid if you are in a wheel chair, you cannot get your mail because the elevator goes straight to the parking lot, not to the front door where the mail boxes reside. When you come to rent inspect the apartments with caution, bring a tape measure because their cabinets are facades, no depth. They hold very few groceries in the kitchen and the bath tubs have no back drains. This makes them prone to flooding.

getting tired of dealing with mouse and roach and new property manager has attitude problem

I living here. I gonna move next month. I living many years .my apt was luxury and best apt. right now perfectly not. change manager strict everything.not maintanance. fire working people.bad.... I think 1/3 unit empty.

This place is a waste of money the rent is kind of expensive for the services and security u are receiving. my mom was living here back in 2006 and her apt was on the first floor while the kids were in the pool they left the door unlocked and someone came in to the apt and robbed 2000 dollars in cash and electronic equipment. the owner and management didn't even put attention and didn't do nothing about it....... its a waste of money do not move here!
