We lived in at 4407 Francis Ave., Unit #105 for over 2 years. Since the day we moved in we experienced horrible conditions such as sever NOISE Disturbance, burglaries, roaches, mold, mildew, leaks, flooding, broken appliances, loud after-hour parties, broken garage door, etc. Unit #205 above us, who are owners have 2 small children who stump, run, scream, yell, slam doors, pound on the floors literally 24/7. The parents are extremely rude & inconsiderate and if anyone complains they pull out the "children play" card on them. Our landlord has a mutual friendship with them and so she never reported them to the HOA so that they could be fined. We experienced severe water leaks in 2018 which our landlord neglected to fix and it lead to black mold! The landlord never housed us or fixed the mold. In addition to the unhealthy living environment, there were many issues regarding this building and condo. The shared laundry room directly shares a wall with the units MASTER BEDROOM! Tenants use the laundry room at every hour of the day and night. The machines are old and bang against the bedroom wall. Our cars were broken into in the garage, our apartment had 2 attempted burglaries, there are roaches everywhere in the building. The park across the streets attracts the homeless, mentally ill, drug dealers, loud parties, late-night illegal activity, and prostitution. There are multiple break-ins into the building with packages being stolen, bikes were stolen, tenants' possessions gone! Unit #105 landlord, (J.M.) is completely checked out and will only collect rent. BEWARE OF THIS LANDLORD! She will not respond to texts and emails in a timely manner. This unit is not worth 3200.00/ month, it may be worth 1000.00 per month or less.
