There are roaches, but to this buildings credit I've never seen them in my unit, only in the hall/basement/elevator. That's going to be common for this price range so get used to it. The real problem with this building is the insanely inconsiderate tenants who slam doors and bang on walls all day and night. It is quite common to find pet urine left in the stairwell and hallways. There is trash strewn about. Also, all the units I've seen have windows on only one wall which creates the effect of extremely poor air flow and stifling heat.

The location of this apartment is great, you are right by everything and the rent is reasonable for where you are. I have a 1 bedroom and it is very spacious. Spacious enough for my roach friends to run around, YES ROACHES. I have only lived here a short while and they were here when I got here, many people have them or have had them at some point in their stay here. Yes management has the exterminator come, but so what they are still here!! I have never lived with roaches and I wish I would have never moved here. The units are old and to an extent you can tell. Walls and floors are thin. Manager is nice, but really who cares? ------ apartment....nice manager...which really holds weight?

This place lets visitors and residents with 2 cars fill up the lot and will then tow your car if you park in a place that does not obstruct traffic. They let cars park is very special spots and talk about a new decal system, well it didn't help me! They will offer to pay 50% of the cost but I should have a parking spot available, it is ridiculous. They made me feel bad about wanting a refund when they should have visitor parking spots, decals, numbered spaces, etc. I really thought they were good people. If I don't come back here then they didn't make it right and they kept my money. It is so wrong to tow a car when there is no spots available and I just parked adjacent to another car parked the same way, because he/she obviously didn't have room, as well! Shady Shady business to not make things right with the tenant. Come live here if you want to be towed in your OWN Complex, or hunt for parking like your at school! NOT! EPIC EPIC FAIL.

When we moved in we had to super clean everything before we were ready to move in. Our cabinets were sagging and the molding below them had to be taped up when we moved in and just continually have come apart. The carpets are being ripped apart and since the padding under the carpets have never been changed stains seep up through the carpets despite being steam cleaned on my dollar 4 times. The windows are falling apart and when one had to be replaced, after 8 months of asking management to fix it and having them only nail it shut we finally got it fixed. I was there when the window guy came in and when he pulled out the window the wood around the window crumbled off and he told me he had never seen wood so rotten. The wood under the A/C units has incredible water damage and when i called to report a leak from a large rain storm I was simply told they would fix it. Their fix was to put a cover over the AC unit however they did nothing about the damage. And when I asked about it they said simply not to worry about it. The plumbing is awful and you can hear everything down the hall. We moved in without a closet door working in one of the rooms that has been "fixed" twice and the fan keeps breaking in the other room. And now that I am about to move out I understand why nothing was clean or fixed when I moved in. they expect the tenants to do the turnover for the apartments. From how my apartment looked and how my friend's apartment looked when we moved in it looks like they assume everything is good to go and just put someone new into it. Do not move into these apartments if you plan on having somewhere clean and ready for you. They keep putting new paint on the apartments and planting trees but does nothing to the place you will be living. The management of this apartment complex should be ashamed of themselves.

Place is ok for Hollywood. New washers and dryers in lanudry room. Underground parking is easy. Apartments are pretty large. Pool is small and usually dirty. Second elevator hasn't worked for over 4 months. Front door remains unlocked day and night because door lock has never been working since I moved in. Alot of musical residents that play music loud at times. Pot smokers in the courtyards just about every evening. Welcome to Hollywood!

I don't actually live here YET. but, i have been emailing about an apartment in this complex with the manager. He has been very nice, and helpful in providing us with information and keeping us updated as we come closer to our move in date. I'm very satisfied with his quick, professional and freindly service and hope it continues when we live there.
