Avoid 1600 Vine at all cost! don't believe the fake google reviews. All the recent good google reviews are written by the Sentral staff or receive incentive to leave peachy comments. 1600 Vine is far from luxury living, yet rents are equal or higher than the true luxury buildings around the neighborhood. Over 20% of this place is dedicated to Affordable Housing. Do your research through a credible source, don't waste your money here. If you value quality of life, privacy, safety and security in your own home and don't want to waste time dealing with useless rude workers look into other properties in the neighborhood. Camden, Columbia Square, Argyle House and other new buildings around the neighborhood. In June 2025 Sentral property mgmt was brought in... Huge mistake by the property owner company! Sentral has hired a bunch of slow cheap workers with no experience to run the Broperty. There's ZERO: mgmt presence, standards, customer service, accountability, acknowledgement, attention to residents needs, follow ups, communication, basic knowledge and willingness to perform the job they are hired to do. The old mgmt company wasn't great but 1000 times more qualified, respectful, legit, present and attentive than these clowns. I have lived at 1600 Vine for many years and never experienced such low quality, no class, dismissive, dishonest, incompetent and completely disengaged property manager, leasing and maintenance staff. The homeless freely live in garages and stairwells with full access to the community, Broperty is roach infested, confidential resident matters are discussed in the open in front of others, packages go missing, You've got short term rentals in the Broperty, maintenance is handled by underqualified manager and staff, staff go into Aad homes without prior notice or resident presence, security is nearly nonexistent, concierge service doesn't exist, mgmt and security don't assist residents with thefts and missing items, carpets and furniture in common areas are stained and always grimy, grills are used to death and don't work, elevators are often out of service, There's dog feces everywhere, police is regularly called into the Broperty, car break-ins are a normal occurrence, the premise isn't maintained as it should for what they falsely advertise it to be luxury! There's a handful of mediocre events throughout the year... Events are poorly planned and cater to a certain group, the young crowd don't bother to attend. Terrible music and inedible food. The Klein Financial gotta do something about this Sentral SCAM asap to save their reputation and prevent from mass move outs.

All good Google and Yelp reviews about this property are FAKE! Reviews written as of July 2025 are self-written or receive money compensation. It's suspicious that the two most hated people in the leasing office Erica and Amy are getting good feedback. These two are the least competent and socially aware individuals. They have offended and harassed almost every resident in the property. Sentral mgmt is a Joke! They have gathered a bunch of uneducated cheap labor to manage the building. Ivan is another uneducated looser with NO mgmt ability or experience. 1600 Vine is loosing tenants due to Sentral negligence. this place is disgusting it reeks of dirt and dog feces. I don't RECOMMEND 1600 VINE APARTMENTS OR ANY PROPERTY MANAGED BY SENTERAL. Thank you Apartment Ratings for allowing honest resident feedbacks to be heard! SENTRAL mgmt LEARN TO BE TRANSPARENT STOP WITH YOUR SHAM. Their useless maintenance team did not repairs a leaky pipe in one of the units on the second floor for THREE MONTHS! The pipe finally ruptured resulting in major water damage to several units and hallways. Mold and black water everywhere. Do yourself a favor and don't leave another scripted comment on my review like you did to others. You are all a bunch of loosers, if you had the resources and experience to staff the property with competent staff you wouldn't be loosing these many tenants.

**5am wake up call happening daily because the walls are so thin I can hear a Sittle dog barking even while wearing ear plugs** Initial problems in first week upon moving in: Dishwasher did not work and needed to be replaced The washing machine left detergent stains on all my clothing and linens of mine and my fiancé Dryer wasn't cleaned and full of last tenants hair and dust The replacement dryer doesn’t dry the clothes fully The bath didn’t work and needed repair Mailbox key didn’t work and needed to be replaced During the turnover process several areas in home were untouched and full of dust Fridge leaks puddles of water every few days AC wasn't reset so it was running of the previous tenants schedule waking me up early every day It’s disappointed several of these issues have continued to be neglected and have continued to cause me my time and energy since November. in addition to having all these issues in my unit and the dog next door it’s always something here: elevators broken every week, water shutdowns for multiple days, the hallways have the ac on blast and super cold, grimy water coming out of faucets, areas smell like dog pee. I’ve had delivery employees lost for 20+ minutes in the Bomplex multiple times. And my question about replacing air filters due to the fire has been ignored. The combination of all these factors have lead me to a feeling of tired of this Bomplex.

WARNING: INCOMPETENT mgmt HAS DESTROYED PROPERTY VALUE (SENTRAL - Effective Mid-2025) We were former residents who enjoyed this Bicturesque property under Legacy Partners. They were legit, responsive, and caring. Former, great staff members like Pauliina, Jose, and Ke'On have been replaced by the Sentral mgmt team (Erica, Aimee, Stan), who collectively demonstrate a catastrophic level of incompetence, internal communication failure, and utter disregard for tenant well-being. Avoid this property until Sentral is replaced. Their operational failures actively create a high-stress environment for residents. OPERATIONAL FAILURES AND LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY: FINAL OPERATIONAL COLLAPSE (New Tenant Stranded): After the leasing office confirmed they would generate the new lease agreement, the incoming tenant arrived on site to move in. mgmt informed him they had "no record of anything" and the necessary paperwork was nonexistent. This critical operational failure left a new resident stranded and demonstrates the complete inability of this team to manage even fundamental administrative tasks. Breach of Privacy and Misinformation: On the new tenant's move-in day, Leasing Consultant Aimee told the new tenant that we still owed money on our account. This information was factually inaccurate (we signed an addendum releasing us from responsibility on October 31st) and was a severe, unprofessional breach of our financial confidentiality as outgoing tenants. Internal Sabotage & Blaming Tenants: Different staff members provided conflicting instructions throughout our move-out process. We received one set of advice from Stan, only to be informed that this procedure was "not correct" by Manager Erica on move-out day, in the form of a lecture about "proper procedures." Erica, earn your title by educating your staff on proper procedures, not by blaming tenants for your team's internal disorganization. Laziness and Deception: On a day we needed final move-out details, we called Stan four times and were repeatedly told he was "away from his desk" or "busy." We went to the office and found him casually chatting with a coworker. Their priority is their social time, not tenant requests. Contradictory Communication: Leasing Specialist Aimee claimed a need to "24-hour response time." You'll be lucky if you hear back from her in 72 hours, extending to critical issues like a four-day lapse in response to a high-priority maintenance request (documented via multiple emails and texts). Everything appears to be an inconvenience for her. Emergency Service Shutdown: mgmt shut off water to our floor without prior notice. When we reported this (after having to towel off mid-shower) we found the office staff, including the "manager," casually socializing. An official notification email was only sent after we personally visited the office. Final Move-Out Disregard: Manager Erica was visibly unsure of the process at our final meeting, was staring blankly at her computer screen, printed a document containing incorrect tenant names, and told us to "not worry about that page." Sabotaged Lease Transfer: Our request to advertise the Anit as "Coming Soon”submitted two months prior to moving was completely ignored and never posted. The Sentral team lacks the legit intelligence need to to manage a property of this caliber. We urge prospective tenants to factor these documented managerial failures into their decision. We strongly advise Sentral's upper mgmt to conduct an immediate operational review of this location; failure to replace this team will inevitably cause the property's reputation and occupancy rates to collapse.

Sentral took over as the new mgmt. Absolutely awful!!!! This is an old structure requiring major renovations. The new mgmt team cuts corners on all fronts, and I'm eager to leave. These folks lack professionalism. They've reduced the cleaning crew, leaving the residence filthy. The structure has poor security with people loitering at the parking entrance waiting for someone to let them through. They've even cut back on security
