The building has gone steadily downhill for three years. The building has been robbed once a month for the past three months. The owner and mgmt have not done anything about it. Repairs are requested and not done, common areas are not cleaned, the lawn is often full of trash, and the owner has switched mgmt companies 3 or 4 times in 3 years. The last company, Mashcole Property mgmt, was the worst. They were always unreachable. Last summer, they left the elevator broken for 2 weeks during a heat wave. The elevator was subsequently "fixed" by a resident, although it continues to jolt and lurch. Incidently, an inspection certificate has not been posted in this elevator the entire time I've lived here. Hmmmmmmmm....

Across the street is an abandoned/condemned halfway house, which sits vacant. It houses transients and drug addicts. We can watch them casually climb through the broken metal fence in plain sight.

Our building isn't much better. The hallways smell like marijuana. One resident was sent to jail this year. My neighbors are fleeing the building in droves.

THIS BUILDING IS NOT SAFE. don't MOVE HERE.
Large apartment units with spacious balconies. Nice location, except for shifty building across the street. The building and resident mgmt is poor and it takes forever to get repairs done. The value is good for the location and pets are allowed. Laundry onsite. No pool, no gym.

THIS PROPERTY isn't SOMEPLACE YOU WANT TO MAKE THE EFFORT TO MOVE INTO AND WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. FIRST AND FOREMOST, THEY ADVERTISE FREE INTERNET BUT THEY HAVE A SPECIAL LIMITED ACCESS DEAL WITH THE INTERNET CARIER THAT doesn't PROVIDE ENOUGH CAPACITY NECESSARY FOR THE NUMBER OF COMPUTERS BEING UTILIZED. . MOREOVER, THEY ARE MAKING A CONCERTED EFFORT TO DISSUADE CHILDREN, TEENAGERS AND YOUNG ADULTS FROM MOVING IN. It's REALLY BECOMING A SENIOR CITIZEN COMMUNITY. TENANTS ARE NEUROTIC AND CHRONIC COMPLAINERS AS IS THE PROPERTY MANAGER. IF YOU WANT TO LIVE UNDER A MICROSCOPE, GO FOR IT.

Cahuenga Heights & the mgmt company that run the property are the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. I worth checking out fighting for a room at Guantanamo Bay before moving into this apartment complex. We took the Owner of the building and mgmt team to Small Claims Court & were awarded $10,000 by the state due to constant mismanaging & negligence. It's been 3 months since the court date and we have recieved zero contact about collecting our money from the company. They don't call or email back, even have a disconnected phone # listed. We moved out of the building over a month ago & they didn't show up for the final walk through to collect keys. They then preceeded to send us a final bill detailing that we owed them backrent over 30 days later. These people are scummy and the most vile human beings you can find in property mgmt. If you take the time to sign a lease with these people, it's on you for what you have to deal with! Raiven & Angela are ignorant, inept, and totally incompetent in running anything properly let alone multiple units or multiple properties.

the building started out alright, but an absentee owner and terrible mgmt have driven this property into the ground. It smells. The landscaping in front of this place is encrusted with trash. And don't even think of complaining to the managers, they are apparently at home in this filth. The building across the street used to house indigent crazies and now lies abandoned save for taggers and crackheads that squat there. It used to be cute...now its creepy...and I'm a dude.

You should have stopped when you saw greystar. But you didn't. You will pay $3-400/month extra in unknown undisclosed utilities, that have no actual bill and are just made up amounts every month. No one will ever respond to you, so you are on your own to fend for yourself. You can't ask questions, maintenance is non existent, You've got absolutely no amenities, traffic is a NIGHTMARE every single day, only worse in the summer, neighbors all hate eachother, mgmt couldn't care less, and you will NEVER get your deposit back. Welcome to the community!

Avoid greystar at all costs they’re terrible. They charge a lot and force you to live in slum conditions. They force their staff to work hard hours with little resources. They can’t even pay the maintenance workers gas money to drive to all their properties located all over the valley and hollywood, it’s actually crazy and borderline illegal. They’re inhumane!
