I've lived at this place for a long long time as well because of the location. But the owners care only about the rent. the building is keept barely clean.rent is increased every year at the max allowed by law and maintenance decreased.better have a long term lease if planning to rent here.

Lived here for a LONG LONG LONG time and have never been satisfied with the management. They do NOT care about their tenants and as another reviwer said, only go by what they HAVE to do. There are a few "bad apples" in the building that make it difficult to They had a FABULOUS assistant manager team (wife & husband) and heard they ran them off for no good reason at all. Most of the tenants are good people but we ALL complain about the same thing. In the summer of 2010, the parking (which is secured) was burglarized and the management said it wasn't their problem. Several cars were broken into, and from what was said by the victims was the building basically just said they weren't liable and that was it. I know the building codes were changed after that, but heard they didn't even want to do that. The cons outweigh the pros at Camino Palmero apartments, and unless you've lived there for 10 years , folks usually move out after the 1st year lease is up.

It is a community of condo owners that treat the renters like second class citizens. You have to abide by all of the laws of the HomeOwners Association but have no right (as a renter) to enforce any of the rules. We are living there now and having problems with a loud neighbor but can't do anything about it because we are just renters. It's also a very noisy place because of the accoustics of the courtyard. We're counting the days until we can move. Just recently, we received complaints from the people in the unit below that we are walking too loudly. It's crazy.
