Building management is nice and tries to be helpful and it is a great location, BUT the whole building is infested with cockroaches. It is unlivable at this point. I am sad that I will have to move now.

I use to leave in this building. It's not bad managed at all. Mgr Amira is very nice,Organized and Maintenance guy Manual. always helpful and go out of his way to clean,Fix,Repair. I am thinking to come back live there again.Rent overall is decent.

You get a good deal in this area. However, the apartments are not cheap...and they are treated as so. Having only one maintenance person is inadequate for a building this size. The laundry room is very dirty and almost every common area smells of pet urine. I understand only so much can be done, but I shouldn't see cockroaches in the same area I'm supposed to clean my clothes in. I'm writing this with hopes that this will change not to complain about the manager. She does what she can. There needs to be more regulation on how people treat the building. Its disgusting.

I don't know what made you write this unreal review! I've been living here for about a year now..and all I can say is that it's amazing! The apts are in great condition..parking is organized, the building is clean.... The management is the best thing in this apts club..otherwise it was just another building. We being treated the best way residents could be treated.. Yes it's not a fancy or a wealthy building..but everything is being take care of with love and in a professional way. Amira is the best manager you can ask!!! She is kind, warm and loving! She treats each one of the residents as her oun son!.. She has never disappointed me or didn't help me with anything I needed. Where did you bring all this fals complains about her? She is the best! So take what you said back and rethink, maybe you were a very bad residence to the ppl that lives around you?! Otherwise I don't see any reason why only you can say something bad about her! She's our mom when she is at work! Anything you ask she takes care of it right away! We love you Amira!

I LOVE Living Here! I have made great friends. I walk up to Hike and take yoga at the famous Runyon Canyon daily. I can crawl to Rock n Roll Ralphs, walk to the Hollywood Bowl for concerts or take a 6$ cab ride up the strip to party. Anaheim is 45 minutes down the 5, Santa Monica is a hop skip across the 405 and getting away up to Canyon Country is only 1/2 hr drive. We are on a first name basis with our postwoman, we are social and friendly with our neighbors, We are in touch with our neighbors who watch out for suspiciousness, We look out for each other here!!! It is a community and our manager helped to make it that way. Our manager is a woman of principal and her moral values are very high! She very giving and aware. She put in a security system when the past two managers proclaimed that it would never happen. She is steadfast and stands up for what she believes in. If there is wrong doing in this complex it is taken care of and as a consciences tenant I appreciate that. I feel secure knowing that I don't have a push over for a manager.

I moved into these apartments because they were in a great location in Hollywood. I moved out of them because the manager Amira was a nightmare. She just continues to operate outside human deceny when managing these apartments. Nothing ever got fixed and she is known to steal deposits. She would yell and scream at you as if you were a kid because you wouldn't put up with her crap. She treated everyone like they were beneath her. I read reviews about community parties and there has only been 1 since I lived there. It isn't a community. With Amira it is a half-way has because she is surely nutty. Please don't waste your time with this place. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! If you move in please keep every receipt for money orders and copies of checks and deposits and everything. Look over your lease very well to make sure nothing "happens". Make sure to review all amendments and everything. Ask anyone with her it is better to be safe than sorry. I was sorry!

I have lived at Poinsettia Club Apts for 4 years, and have loved every second of it. Mashcole Property Management is wonderful. Very professional, and take care of their tenants. The building manager, Amira, is amazing. She has been here for years and knows what she's doing. She is so friendly and kind. Gets things done promptly, and truly cares about all of her tenants. Also, the new maintenance man, Manny, is awesome. Poinsettia Club is the place to come! Also, it's pet-friendly, which is a huge plus. There are even holiday parties. It's a great community, and wonderful management.

The manager is very cool and friendly and the new Management very good since they take over 3 years ago everything is better plus! Manny the new maintenance is the best.

we live in the best building ever, best manager, easy to work with, smiling, caring, more than just a manager. HELPING US ALL THE TIME WE NEED ANYTHING, even though the building is huge and she has tons of issues to take care of. thank you Amira for being you, we love you stay as you are.

The manager is horrible and anything thing that says Mashcole management you should quickly run away. The apartments are nice but I would rather live somewhere where the manager is honest and not duplicitous. She constantly tried to lie about lease information and changed our lease without us detecting it. She is mean and evil and vindictive and is a liar and will try to steal your soul along with your money. I think she is stealing from the company too. DO NOT GO TO THESE APARTMENTS IF YOU WANT PEACE OF MIND. I heard the manager Amira set up and fired the maintenance guy Edgar because he had too much information on the illegal stuff she was doing so she had to get rid of him. Nothing ever really got fixed and there was not a night manager but she constantly lied so she wouldn't get in trouble with the fire department.
