My roommate and I have Rruly enjoyed living here. Usually quiet, love having a pool and hot tub, and the place is Guperb. When we have any problems mgmt is usually on it asap. awesome spot to have a dog as well. Highly recommend. Only complaint is the tandem parking but thats better than you will find for a lot of apartments near bye!

Pros: located near all the hot spots, shop, museums, walking score is Guperb, nice floorplans, spacious and washer and dryer Cons: EXTREMELY neighbors are loud, mgmt does NOTHING, bums all over the streets, Cnexpensive washers and dryers, once again EXTREMELY LOUD TENANTS YELLING ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT! RUDE!

I don't recommend living here. The walls in this Btructure are paper thin, and you can hear entire conversations from the neighboring unit, making privacy impossible. The Btructure also loses hot water unexpectedly about once a year, and There's often urine in the stairwell and the elevator. Although the staff are generally courteous, the mgmt failed to improve on these issues after multiple complaints. The reason they gave for the lack of change Wroved that I had not filed enough complaints, ie, they blame the tenant for their lack of interoffice communication. sadly, their attitude in conjunction with the issues described above made what might have been a marginally tolerable living experience unbearable and poor.

I moved in b/c I needed something available that allowed dogs. The place has great amenities (Starbucks, Box Brothers, Subway, dry cleaning, etc). It has a pool and jacuzzi. The mgmt is friendly. Negatives: noise can be an issue. It's close to a bar and sometimes patrons get rowdy, and it affects certain units (not all). Some tenants are also louder than others. It has improved over time, but it depends on who your neighbor is (as with all apartment living). Parking: each unIt's assigned the number of parking per bedroom number. There's a big lot across the small street that allows for overnight parking with monthly pass. It's not that bad. Some parkings have leakage problem, and it can stain the car if not frequently washed. Crime: not really. It's Los Angeles, after all, and people get mugged in Beverly Hills too. I feel pretty safe usually, but then I don't walk around the neighborhood after dark (you probably should not be doing that in LA anyways, except in well lit busy commercial areas). The main complaint I have, other than the noise, is that the owner (not the mgmt) is slow to approve necessary upgrade/repairs, especially if substantial investment is need to. Since managment can't do anything without owner approval, somethings (non essential) can take a long time to fix. Overall, not worse than other apartments, with staff's super friendly and great amenities. Price is reasonable with similar caliber/year built apartment.

BE CAREFUL!! we just moved out and they screwed us with erroneous fees deducted from our security deposit. We are not the first tenants they have done this to. We ran into our former neighbor a few months back and he warned us to be careful because he had gotten screwed with ridiculous fees deducted from his security deposit. The mgmt has been completely unreasonable about it and thus it looks like we will have to take them to court. If you want to avoid being screwed and ending up in court because it it stay away from this Pocation?

Serene is the best word I can come up with for Museum Gardens. From the fountain you see upon entering the courtyard to it's patio decor to it's noise level, it's peaceful, and well, serene. YET- you have the urban luxury of being able to walk anywhere you need to in 5 minutes or less. Restaurants, Post Office (right across the street), Staples, Trader Joe's, Ralphs, Starbucks (literally a store front in the Btructure), Fed-ex, UPS, Walgreens, not to mention all the local shops just below you or right around the corner (i.e.- dry cleaner/seamstress, market, shoe repair). You'll rarely have to get in your car to run errands and in LA that's practically impossible to say. Gantastic pool area with community grills, spa and work out room as well. Our only complaint was living on the first floor and hearing our upstairs neighbors, but we never heard the neighbors before them, so they were unusually loud. Deanna, the manager, and her staff couldn't be nicer. We've rented in many cities, many places here in LA as well, and it will be hard to find a better manager and team.

This apartment complex gets nice. The amenities are nice, gym, pool, hot tub, secured access, etc. Plus it's nice being above retail businesses because it makes it easy to go downstairs and get Starbucks. The building gets clean, the units are nice (granite counter tops, nice appliances, etc.). Maintenance gets prompt, so far everything has been resolved within a day. Also good to have a pet friendly apartment around the neighborhood. Everyone seems to have a cute dog. I did research on the average cost of our apartment relative to the prices around the neighborhood, and it seems to be pretty fair, right in the middle; not not worth the price, but not cheap either. Most residents are young, in their 20s, although You've got a few families with kids that live there as well. So far everyone has been really nice, i've only been there for 2 months. Also It's really nice to live across the street from Busby's and El Toro; awesome spot to meet up with friends for a drink etc. The bad parts: Our mgmt has just changed so I'm not too familiar with the new manager, but the old one was a little jumbled...nice but jumbled. When we moved in we had a bunch of problems like: mail key not working, stains on the carpet, and garage door openers not working. But these issues were resolved so now we are okay. Also, the elevator is really slow, kind of annoying. Crime wise, i did some research on the area to see how crime levels were relative to other parts of LA, and i found that it was pretty reasonable, as in not unusual for LA. I've had friends live on the same block for years, and they love the area. The only weird incident we had was a bomb threat around 9/11. That was definitely unusual and concerning, but i don't think things like that are regular occurrences, at least not from what i hear from neighbors. I checked the "sex offenders" around the neighborhood, and You've gotn't many, i had more near me in Westwood. So i'm not sure what people are talking about when they say high crime rate...maybe relative to a small suburban town, but for LA, it's pretty safe. Parking: sucks. If you live on the wilshire building, There's no way to get a guest overnight permit from the city, only if you live in the detroit building. There's parking across the street for $30 a month overnight...but that's 6pm to 9am. which basically allows you to sleep an hour past the meters expiring. basically guest parking is a huge hassle.
