If I could rate this in the negatives I would. This place is a disaster. The new women in the management team are rude, disrespectful, and lack in communication and people skills. They think they are better than the residents living here and act accordingly. Julian or Jillian or whatever her name is accuses residents of starting "problems" although it has been publicly noted and in the news that there has always been a bed bug issue in the past few years. One resident I spoke to and have known to have lived here for years and has never once had bed bugs until a few months ago is now being accused of starting the whole issue. She argued with said resident for a few minutes saying that that resident doesn't know for sure it wasn't their fault. The elevators never work and are always vandalized. When they do work they are urinated in and disgusting. Thanks to the dogs the other residents have. Mind you, there arent supposed to be pets in there. Many residents who are disabled or elderly some times don't have a way to get out of the apartments because of this issue. There are gang members and drug addicts in the apartments and while the front door of the lobby in the apartments is supposed to be secure and they are supposed to be taking the call box office, it is not. There has been two incidences where men have ran in the apartments running from the police. One most recently ran in who was armed with a gun and the whole street was blocked off. People smoke in the hallways or in their living rooms and it seeps through the windows or open doors and no one says anything to them. Like the other person stated, repairs don't get done unless you have the money to pay for it or are covered by section 8. I would recommend not going here and looking elsewhere for a home at least until they get respectful, businessmen or women who won't discriminate, accuse or instigate.

Let me start off by saying keep looking if you are looking to rent here. Do not rent here! Roaches Roaches and more Roaches and even rats!! They fumigated my place here every month and even one emergency fumigation at the time I moved in. It did not work after so many times they fumigated but of course not! If the pest company killed all of the roaches they would not have a job! They could not break my lease so I felt like I was a prisoner here. They keep changing management! New faces everytime I go into the office to pay my rent. The new manager looks like a tenant From skid row. It looks like there's car break in every week. I hear people fighting every night. Kids running down the hallways every minute. Roaches crawling down the halls as you walk. They only bright side is the location. 5 min away from downtown and Pasadena. But you will hate going home to the projects.

These apartments were what was affordable at the time. Unfortunately, that was the only thing going for them. The units are riddled with roaches to an unbelievable extent. The whole unit could use a tent, but that would be costly and would put a lot of families out. The neighbors were friendly for the most part, but the gang affiliation made for a very unpleasant feeling. Never really felt safe to walk through common areas alone, such as the stairs, garages, and hallways. Also the laundry facilities were horrendous when it came to cleanliness, as well as functionality. The security officers at the time were very unprofessional. They kinda defeated the purpose, cause we mostly avoided them, and were not able to express any concerns to them. Overall, it was a really lousy housing complex, and for me to reccomend it to anyone, I would have to be convinced of some serious improvements..Which right now, I know of none.
