Overall 8th and Hope is a wonderful place to live. Great views, great apartment, and nice neighbors. I truly enjoy coming home everyday and spending time at home with my girlfriend. The neighborhood is very lively and makes you feel like a part of the community.

My view is fantastic, my neighbor are disrespectful smokers, it smells like a motel when my AC is on and the management is not responding to any of my emails regarding the issues nor trying to help a good standing resident.

Staff at a front desk are friendly and kind. Maintenance services are good. Locations are convenient for me, close to Whole Foods, Ralphs and some restaurants and fast food chains. Overall, I'm satisfied with the life here.

It is a fantastic community and the ultimate industrial modern living aesthetic. Staff is courteous and responsive and community and grounds are impeccably maintained. The attention to details regarding health and wellness as it pertains to COVID-19 is superior and the rules and regulations are strictly enforced.

Surprise... Surprise! As I was leaving my unit yesterday, security was at my next door neighbor's taking down a THEFT report for their vehicle. Apparently, someone had broken into her car while she was on vacation and stole a few things including the garage remote. FYI, the parking garage has been broken and wide open 10 out of the last 12 months I've lived here. Oh yeah, let's not forget about the guy who got shot in his neck in June. Complete INSANITY! *smh* This has become the MOST trash building ever! Half the hallways in every floor is filled with low class Airbnb guests DAILY for the past 5 months during quarantine. Out of town travelers think DTLA is some 5 star resort for them to come vacation during a pandemic. They've turned this luxury high rise community into a 2 star trashy hotel. They are loud and disrespectful with zero regard for community guidelines. They never wear masks, leave trash everywhere, are always partying, fighting, and slamming hallway doors throughout all hours of the day and night. They are jeopardizing the safety and ruining the quality of living for all current residents. The management is TERRIBLE and has not once reached out to me after numerous complaints I have made and reported. Repairs are dreadful! The parking gate is ALWAYS broken. The elevator was down for 2 months during quarantine and residents were forced to wait ridiculously long for the only working elevators to reach their floor. Let's not forget about the extra influx of Airbnb guests tying up the elevators adding unnecessary traffic while not wearing any face masks. I don't know what happened to this building, but it is just absolute trash now. Don't waste your time moving here, you will deeply regret it!

I've moved into 8th and Hope apartments in March 2020. I went a saw a lot of different properties around Downtown LA. I have never felt more like at home then at 8th and Hope apartments. All the staff members are extremely kind and help out if any problems arise. I wouldn't want to leave 8th and Hope apartments for anything else. The price is extremely good for what you're getting. During COVID-19, something that no one was prepared for, it felt like 8th and Hope apartments was completely prepared. They know what they were doing, they had good advice for the residents and would implement fair rules to make sure the spread of the virus was minimal to none. I placed a work order request (Service Request) and within a day somebody would come and fix the problem i was having in the apartment. They staff here have always been organized and professional.

Front desk concierge Mr. DAVID could use more training on how to approach residents. Other than that 8th and Hope is a place I can call home. The pool and other amenities are clean! It was a pleasure working with JAY from leasing office!

We have lived at 8th and Hope going on 3 years now! We couldn't be happier with the overall experience we have had! We (my husband and I) love the community, the staff, the amenities and the overall culture at 8th and Hope! We recommend living here to everyone and anyone we come across!

Get better management staff, work on solutions, dont just say no that cant happen. Last time I asked to upgrade to the penthouse, I was told the rent would be going up during the pandemic when residents are moving out. You know we can see what units are open and available? Why just shut people down when they want to love to a higher floor. I spoke with other residents that had no issues exercising their right to move units. Very frustrating experience every time I interact with the rental staff.
