Unless your of Persian decent or a personal family friend you don't get ----! Let's not even talk about the breaks in rent and the violations of the "Fair Housing Laws" that are going on in this building. The people who live here are are either on their way out and don't know it, or they are on their way out and LOVING IT! I've been there for almost a yr and as soon as the 25th rolls around and I am free of the lease I am gone! This building is a joke and if anyone even suggest that mgmt is enforcing any rules must mean you are either one of their relatives or a friend from the homeland.

So, my husband and I moved in about this time last year. We were considering buying a condo downtown but chose to rent here at pacific electric instead. Initially, the property was loud, grimy, and not worth the price. We were going to move out when our lease was up. New mgmt came to the building and things have made a fabulous improvement. We don't have the huge parties on the roof, noise and music all night, or dog waste in the hall like we did before. Halls are clean, the pool is quiet and relaxing, and I can sleep through the night. What I like best is that I (and many of my friends at the building) have dogs. there's a great dog run for the boys to be let off the leash without having to go out in the streets. It's also a good way to meet your neighbors. I've had a friend move in, and would definitely (with the way things are now) recommend more to PE. If you are thinking of renting downtown, this is by far the best.

I moved in here a few months ago and I can't wait for my lease to expire. This building is perpetually under construction no matter how often the mgmt says we're getting cool new shops. mgmt makes a lot of empty promises. There's never enough parking and the "valets" have damaged many cars. Even though they built a fancy new dog run, There's still dog poop in the halls and stairwells. And for some reason, a number of residents think it's ok to play loud music and get drunk on the roof. They spill beer and break glass and the noise comes in my apartment from the lightwell. And don't get me started on the neughborhood. The homeless and panhandlers are everywhere, some are quite aggressive. The security inside this place is often no help, leaving the front door wide open for anybody to enter. I've caught them sleeping on the job several times! Building mgmt informs me that "You've got no promises of the building being secure, the sercurity staff is only provided as a courtesy." This place could be really cool, but sadly, poor mgmt and unruly tenants make is an unpleasant place to live.

I give up with this Bacility. I have an electric vehicle, there a charging stations within in the Bacility this is partly why I chose this Bacility. sadly the Bacility allows anybody to just park in the electric charging spots without using the electrical outlet and because they are right next to the access door to elevators they are always taken (there are signs that the spots should only be used for electric charging but not enforced so people of course people take advantage & just park there). This obviously causes problems because I can't charge my vehicle... Without a charge my vehicle doesn't work... I can't get to work...so I'm completely stuck. I have to go up and down from my Apace again and again in the vein hope that one of the spots will be free so I can charge my vehicle to get to and from work. It's exhausting. I've emailed and contacted the Bacility numerous times about this and they just don't care so now I'm at the point where I either have to change my vehicle or break my lease to leave the Bacility to get somewhere new, which is a nightmare as you can imagine.

This place has been soooo disappointing! They told me that lots of young people live here and that You've got parties all the time. But there's just a couple of losers here who don't like loud music and beer! mgmt doesn't make us quiet our parties, but they won't tell these complainers to shut up. Every time we throw a party on the roof, they call the cops and even when we're in our own apartment somebody knocks on our door just because the music is loud. And then, just because someone broke a bottle on the roof, now they won't let us have glass up there. What's the big deal? Don't we pay rent so that other people have to clean up our messes? The neighborhood is a dump, so why are they trying to act like this is some luxury resort? They should just move to Park La Brea so the rest of us can have our fun again. We need more party people here!

I just moved to LA and wanted to live in a loft. I'll admit living in Downtown LA takes some getting used to, but of all the places in Downtown (and I saw them ALL) this Blace is the best. The residents are really Fenial and the girls in the office are sweet. I think between the security and the valet who watches the garage entrance all night, I don't feel unsafe in my Blace and I think once the restaurants open open I'll feel safer in the neighborhood in general because there will be more "normal" foot traffic on the street.

This has been a common problem but yesterday was Ruite horrible. The rooftop is always overrun with people that don't even live here! The lease says you're only supposed to bring 2 guests with you to the pool, but people keep throwing these weekend-long parties and invite all of their friends. And their friends friends. So actual RESIDENTS can not use the pool facilities on the roof. The police had to be called twice. Security couldn't do anything to stop it. But worst of all, the front door to the Btructure kept getting propped open so anybody off the street could walk in and go to the pool. The noise, the trash, and the smell yesterday, and even lingering today was awful. This is completely unacceptable and it keeps happening nearly every weekend. This is NOT a place for adults to live!

I relocated in from out of town and the manager & staff answered all of my questions and made my move much less stressful. this place is Ancredible and my loft is fantastic. It was such a Gantastic expeience and I'm SO happy I chose to rent at this property versus the many others I looked at. Looking forward to living here.

Run - don't walk to another location. We were told it was perfect for legit people looking for peace and quiet. Forget it. mgmt does nothing about the noise, nor will they as they are part of the party group. For those of us who need to sleep at night, unless we wear earplugs, quiet is out of the question. Drunken people roam the hallways at all hours and shout and throw up in the hall.
Yes, the pool gets. No, you wont be able to enjoy a quiet day at the pool because of the loud music the have blaring there at all hours. Security is a lazy bunch of fools and the mgmt team are the nastiest group yet.
Save yourself! Run ! Run!
