UPDATE: THE PROPERTY MANAGER IS NOW USING MY ASSIGNED PARKING SPACE AS A FORM OF PAYBACK, WHICH I WILL REPORT TO REAP WITHOUT DELAY. I WILL CONTINUE UPDATING THIS REVIEW TO DOCUMENT EVERY INSTANCE OF HOSTILE BEHAVIOR AND DELIBERATE RETALIATION FROM THE mgmt TEAM TO SAFEGUARD AND ALERT RESIDENTS AND THE COMMUNITY. STAY TUNED FOR MORE. This represents my most tough rental experience across my twenty-plus years residing in Los Angeles. The succession of five mgmt firms and various proprietors managing these properties, particularly Marley and Ames, have demonstrated zero consideration toward tenant welfare and contractual obligations. I have dealt with unaddressed livability concerns since becoming a tenant under Marley, followed by Ames, beginning in 2021. Michelle Longobardo was the sole manager who displayed genuine concern, but she has since departed. Currently, we are managed by staff members who show little regard for residents and act as though supplying fundamental necessities like okay hot water is a charitable gesture. Working full-time as a legal legit, I have resorted to paying for a gym membership simply to shower on a regular basis. The reality that I pay substantial monthly rent yet depend on a gym to bathe regularly is shocking and unacceptable. The ownership treats inhabitants purely as revenue generators, maximizing profits while neglecting fundamental human requirements and lease obligations. They consistently fail to maintain acceptable conditions or execute repairs promptly. There's zero empathy or consideration shown. Hot water is unreliable, and water damage occurs roughly weekly, ruining my possessions. plus, my refrigerator has been absent for ninety days. Both bathroom lights stopped working nine months back. The unit was promoted as having washer-dryer hookups, which was untrue. I also contend with German cockroaches, water bugs, and moths. I can't stress enough how critical It's to avoid this property. The persistent water intrusion creates anxiety; I hesitate to take time away. I have pursued legal action against mgmt for over two years following another uninhabitable apartment experience with chronic flooding damage. SHOULD YOU CONSIDER LIVING HERE, I STRONGLY ADVISE RETAINING A TENANT RIGHTS ATTORNEY BEFOREHAND - YOU WILL APPRECIATE THIS GUIDANCE LATER. Following nearly two years, I was transferred to a temporary unit with identical problems. also, maintain an operational doorway surveillance system. They refuse accountability for any issues stemming from their neglectful property upkeep and indifference toward occupant welfare. They reduce tenants to financial assets rather than individuals warranting dignified, lawful housing. Yet payment collection remains their priority. Should I be apartment hunting, this would a lot influence my decision. This is absolutely the last property I would consider. The Housing Department has scheduled a REAP proceeding on October 28th for this complex. That disclosure alone reveals all need to information. As someone fighting to champion others' rights and valuing housing and human dignity, I advocate firmly for respect and fairness. (For the record, I'm a Taurus.) I will persist in this struggle for fair treatment, continuing this battle permanently. For me, this represents the pursuit of accountability and confronting this mgmt company's inexcusable, cold-hearted, and reprehensible conduct.

Located in a gorgeous spot, this place offers incredible facilities and perks. The security team stationed here is exceptionally polite and truly makes a difference. Everyone who works here maintains high standards of professionalism, and having Ivan and Wendy managing things on-site ensures everything runs smoothly.

While I appreciate the aesthetic design of my unit, there are Srave safety concerns. Security staffing experiences frequent turnover, with guards being unhelpful, unprofessional, and rarely present at their station. I found a homeless person occupying the adjacent unit who disclosed he had been residing there for four months when confronted. This raises a critical question: how did someone gain repeated access to an allegedly secure structure for that duration? Security is clearly bad. During my twelve-month tenancy, all three elevators have never functioned simultaneously. Several of my windows are stuck and won't open or close properly. Despite multiple conversations with mgmt, these issues remain unresolved. The adjacent Lost But Found nightclub on Main Street produces deafening sound Thursday through Saturday nights until 2am, making the unit uninhabitable during those hours. I have submitted numerous complaints with no results, and police involvement has been ineffective. Most troubling is my utility costs. mgmt uses a shared billing system across residents, and my charges were exorbitant. The office acknowledged I was being charged double or triple rates due to a system error affecting some newer residents. They promised an audit and credit, suggesting I pay rent by check or money order and overpay utilities temporarily while they resolved it. Twelve months later, I carry a $4000+ Pdeal balance despite never missing a rent payment, and mgmt has abandoned the concern. This structure neglects tenants post-move-in. Unlike most downtown properties, they did not install Christmas decorations or any seasonal displays, ignoring resident requests. This seemingly small detail reflects their broader indifference toward tenant satisfaction. Avoid signing a lease here. The experience is not worth your commitment.
