The older manager is extremely unprofessional. I have seen him give noise complaints to women that have new norms over their baby crying, yell at dog owners, and harass tenants over small things. micromanagey and seems cranky always. He was rude to guests I had here and doesn't answer the maintenance requests properly half the time or leaves things half done. If you don’t want to feel like you’re living with a prison guard that takes his anger out on happy women tenants and their guests don’t live here.

Went to look at the open unit they had in this building, like the building and unit so I took an application and told them I'd like to take the unit. They told me they weren't showing the unit to anyone and I should drop the application off the next day. Then when I call them to find out when someone would be in the office for me to drop the application and a deposit off they tell me they rented the unit. I was then told that if i like it i should have given them a holding fee. Not once did they mention this when I was there, I had my checkbook with me at the time and would have given them the full deposit on the spot. To try and make up for it they told me to come by and look at another unit only to get a call later saying they can't show that unit. At this point I had already put in to take time off work. Really poor mgmt in this complex.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

This was the BEST apartment I've ever lived in. The manager was great and always responded to any problems asap. I hardly had any problems other than the occasional maintenance request, but even at 3AM he was there to fix it with a smile on his face. The manager even gave the tenants Christmas cards every year. I've never seen a place do that, or even remember their tenants names. Packages were delivered in the apartment, my cat was taken care of when I was on vacation, basically he goes above and beyond what any manager would do. I always felt safe in this building, and the neighbors were pretty quiet too. I wish I didn't have to move, but I hope at least one person finds this review helpful =)

Hey guys, I agree with all of the up to date reviews. The managers are magnificent. The old review calling him a pervert and thief are in regards to the previous super. I have heard stories of him from the old-timers in the building. He was fired years ago...even before that 2005 review was posted. This is a wonderful place to live.

They transferred the best managers to their other Blace!

We lived in this building for years and I agree with all the reviews that the Husband and Wife team were the best in all respects. Wonderful people in every respect.We stayed in this building, delayed purchasing a home because of the care we received from them. Once the owners transferred them to a building on National we started looking to move....which we did. The Auite location is the best and always enjoyed living there.

I live here and I love it. I have no idea what these other people who wrote bad reviews are talking about. They can't possibly live here - or perhaps they are accustomed to Four Seasons type of living accomodations. The manager is the nicest person, let alone manager, that I have ever had. When something breaks, It's fixed the next day. ALWAYS. If we get ants, as most CA homes do, they are exterminated the next day. ALWAYS. The pool and the hot-tub are heated and kept up well. The gym equipment is a little old, but at least its there - It's totally usable, and doesn't smell, like the other reviewer said. We just got 4 beautiful brand new grills in the courtyard. The gym bathrooms have dry saunas as well. Wonderful. The rent is cheap for this neighborhood. The noise level is more quiet that I have experienced in other buildings, but as everyone knows, it depends on who your next door neighbors are. My apt. is right off the courtyard, so sound should echo right into my place- but it rarely does. I will be staying here as long as I possible can.

I also agree we have the best resident managers. They receive everyone's packages, respond so quickly if ever you need ANYTHING! The apartments are older like most in Brentwood but we have parking, a pool, gym equipment and really nice people live here.......................
