My wife and I have been here since 1989. We moved to our current unit in the A tower in 2019. The proximity to work, cultural and other amenities have always been a strong point. Three disappointments about Arrive's management include: 1) The use of Plaid to pay the rent. My bank strongly advises against giving any company (username/password) access to my banking account. Now I have to write a check every month like I use to decades ago. 2) Tawdry aesthetics (fake greenery in entry lobbies) 3) The name "Arrive Streeterville" is a real downer from "McClurg Court".

So far it has been great living here. I love the location and the staff is very helpful. I haven't needed to make too many maintenance requests but when I do, they are timely completed. I love the receiving room - the staff is always very helpful. All the doorpeople have been wonderful and the building has been well-maintained. I also love the location of this building - very convenient to many things.

Condition of building and building upkeep has deteriorated since new management about 2 years ago. Their "improvements" and changes have left chaos instead. Maintenance in apartments.e.g., fix faucet, change ceiling light bulb are still good. Common area upkeep is not, e.g., 2 of 3 passenger elevators out over New Year's weekend, replacing ceiling tiles with discolored tiles through out the building after water leaks, months to repair damage to hallways after "riser" work. Security needs to be tightened, especially alertness of door persons, often not looking up and around, rather on their phones, etc. RCN issue is still a big problem for lots of residents and bldg management/ownership is not at all sensitive to it, despite its being under their control. Communications are not satisfactory in any of these cases. Those issues are fixable going forward - if owners and management will think before they act.

Overall, the amenities and facilities are nice - the gym and game rooms are nice, as are the tennis courts and pool and yoga room. However, there have been multiple times where I have had cockroaches in my apartment (mostly when I first moved in). The apartment also does not care about being sustainable or environmentally friendly as they do not allow you to sign up for a composting pick-up service, even if you leave your compost drop off in front of your unit on pick up day (which should not make any difference to them but apparently it's a lease violation).

This management company is the best since I have lived here. I previously moved into this community in 2009 when it was McClurg Court. I then occupied 3807-2 and moved into my current unit in 2015. My only complaint is that it is very hard to get someone in the management department. Every time I call I get the answering service and am told someone will get back to me. Sometime they do and some time they don't.

Can we please get the internet/cable issue sorted out? It would be better for residents to know now what to do for the January 1st change. This has never happened before at other apartment complexes. Also, I think the security staff who monitor the security desk need to have additional safety training. Chicago is full of crime so they need to take their jobs seriously. They will let anyone walk in and don't really care.

Better security lobby door should be activated by door person not automatic. Notices are sent abt noise on deck after hours But what about dogs in the laundry room, mailroom. on passenger elevators off leash etc

Calm building. Big gym that usually has all equipment in good shape. Outdoors is very nice during summer and plenty of space so it is never over crowded. Nice to have a cleaners and 7/11 attached to building. Easy to pickup mail delivery.

very good. Millions of people use when searching for a new apartment home. Your feedback will be read to help make educated rental decisions. To support that, we ask that your review contain a minimum of 200 characters (including spaces), with the hope that you will leave valuable comments for shoppers to read.

The building is a nice one to live in. I have not had many problems but since we changed ownership the home feel has lessened. The door staff is fine, but before they were more personable and friendly. A plus of the building was having all of the amenities built in to the rent cost but now the building has decided to not continue the contract with TV/Internet, adding another thing to remember. That's a first world problem, but there have been a lot of changes in the ownership change over.
