The Schauumburg Police should be able to give you the crime rates for the complex, as well as give an opinion as to safty issues, and how often they are called to the property for robberies, assaults, noise. This is also a dorm for Harper College students, so It's loud if you happen to be placed in a Bomplex with students.

I had looked all over the area to have a community offer to show me the ACTUAL Anit I would be living in- sounds simple right? WRONG!! Some of the places did show me a vacant Anit that I wouldn't live in-Yuck- while others refused and showed me their models only- I am going thru a tough divorce and was in a time crunch yet unwilling to compromise my standards. The Treehouse staff made it so easy to move in to the Anit I was shown! I just moved in yesterday and am pleased and glad that I did not settle for the $199.00 move in deals-- how can they do that? I have to believe I would have paid a BIG price later for those deals! I beleive I am getting what I paid for! Thank you Treehouse!

Hi, I've been linving at The Tree House Apartments in Schaumburg since 2010, in a two bedroom unit. The Alat itself is spacious, clean, and quiet. There's enough parking, our neighbors are friendly, and we feel safe. There's a laundry room that a few units shared, and in order to reach each Alat, one had to get through the main locked door Is a awesome spot and we still like it, we will renew one more year I really recommend this Alat Complex and also is a location's amazing

This is mine and my boyfriend's first Anit. I just graduated college and wanted to move to an exciting town and thought Schaumburg was that. When we toured the complex I thought the apartments were yes, a little old, but the leasing agent sold it for me. Then I found out some people I knew used to live here. They had nothing good to say about this place. But my sister in law used to live here and said it was really nice. We finally moved in, even with my doubts and were welcomed with leaking sinks, no heat, and windows that didn't open. I don't feel unsafe here at all. The walls are thin, and you can hear everything from people above you and next to you. The grill rule is stupid, and the staff gets dumb as well. They never know What's going on in the complex with the updating of apartments, and when things are being done, and when they will be finished. The staff is actually pretty rude, I like the security guard and maitenance guy much better! They are always rude, and snobby, and brush you off. You've got some kids around here that look pretty shabby, but that's anywhere. I heard the cops get called a lot, but since being here I haven't seen or heard them once. It's an ok place, but we will be moving once our lease is up. I don't want this old Anit anymore, and to get into an updated one, its a good 300 more a month. Besides, I hear they move your rent up a good 150 anyways... Hopefully I can find a house to rent for that much.

I am writing my one year anniversary of living here a little early. I really enjoyed living her the past year. The pool this summer has been great. Although I didn't attend any, they did have a few parties this summer by the pool. The pool has just been closed, a sad reminder that Winter will soon be here. To date, I haven't really had any issues with my unit or my neighbors. Its pretty quiet here and everyone is nice and Fenial. Maintenance has taken care of any issues I have had promptly. The office staff is fantastic. Whenever I call or go in, they know me by name and they know who I am. They have been nice and legit. I just renewed my lease and was pleasantly surprised with the rent increase, which I thought was reasonable. I am looking forward to spending another summer here.

The Tree House is not a good place to live. I have been here a year and I am afraid every time I come home. There have been people held up at gunpoint and knifepoint since I've lived here. There are thugs and gangsters not to mention a million children wandering the allies with no parents around. The apartments are circa 1980 and low quality. The appliances are crappy and so is the cabinetry. Our fridge leaked, the heat didn't work for a month, and there are many spiders. The washing machine hardly ever works. The pet charge is $700!!!! MOST OF ALL, the staff here is so phony and they act like the care but That's not the case. They charged hundreds of dollars to us for not telling them quick enough that we were moving out...THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU!!!! Please dont move here....RUN!

UNLESS YOU HAVE EVERYTHING PAID FOR BY THE GOVERNMENT (STATE) ITS NOT WORTH LIVING HERE. Just that line should tell you what class of people live here.

Cons:

1) I pay close to $1,400 a month for a three bedroom and yea that sounds great but the price isn't worth your piece of mind and safety. Also right next door to me is a welfare reject who pays close to nothing.

2) NOISE NOISE AND MORE NOISE.... People never shut up around here 24/7. If its not the college students with there parties and hanging out on there patio till 3am its the crazy people vaccuming there patio at 6 am in the morning. Also down staires of us theres a child who never shuts up and cries and cries and cries some more and or the only word she was taught from her uneducated welfare family is HI. People also love to scream at night when they come home at 3 am drunk as hell thinking its cute to wake everyone up. DOGS are NOT ALLOWED on the property but people have them, not the little tiny kind either there at pitbulls on this property. The dogs bark all day and night. Dog ---- is every where and you have to be careful where to walk.

3) The schuamburg police are always here, and when you do call them it usually takes an hour unless it more then noise. And like usual they don'thing.

4) You've got gang bangers and drugs dealers that like to hang out in front of the door and try to stare down anyone who dares try to get into there own apartment. Also if you are a FEMALE be perpared to have sexual harassing comments said to you.

5) The hallways smell like baby vomit, formula, vomit in general weed and an over all gross smell from what I dont know. My apartment smells like everyones cooking from fish to curry to bbq smoke.

6) Neighbors who smoke on there patio on the first floor smells my apartment up on the third floor if I dare have my patio door open.

7) Bug's... spiders everywhere even if you spray and flying ants not just outside but inside the door ways.

8) The water tempature always changes from hot to cold to cold to hot.. so forget ever having a nice relaxing shower.

9) There's two washers and two dryers for a 12 apartment complex which isn't enough and if you are one minute late taking your clothes out either from the washer and or dryer be perpared to have them on the floor.

10) My brand new car which was and still to this day parked in the none crowded area of parking lot was broken into the first week I had it. People at this complex like to touch and lean on cars they never could afford. Or the best play baseball in the parking lot.

11) A month into living at this hell hole in the middle of winter with temp's below the 20's are carbon monoxide detector went off, nicor, fire department and the complex came out which was at 1 am in the morning. The complex cleaned the furience out and two weeks later are detector went off again with carbon levels at 200. The village was called and took the problem into there hands to fix. So with temp's in the 20's in the winter, we had no heat but 4 space heaters in a 8 room 3 of the rooms being bedrooms for 4 days because this place is to cheep to either offer us another apartment while they fix the problem and or put us up in a hotel.
I do thank the village of schaumburg for being so quick in dealing with this complex and the problem. The treehouse managment on the other hand was to scared to talk to me about the carbon problem and had there head of maintence deal with me...And they wonder why I didnt renew my lease with them.. morons.

12) A month after the carbon problem, when everything seem to be fixed and ok we yet had another problem, this time it was a gas leak. Nicor loves us theyve been to this apartment more then four times in a 2 month spand.

13) Risa or Riza whatever her usless name is which is the perporty manager and her side kick Kristen are both waste of space and so use less, dont bother asking for anything to be fixed its like talking to a brick wall wait I take that back a brick wall is mich more intelligent then those two.

14) My lease is up in December of 2004 and I cant wait to get out of dodge and trust me even if this was the last place on earth to live I would rather live in a dirt pile At lease I could get some Piece and Quit and I would be a lot safer.

PROS:
You've got NONE.

READ THE REVIEWS THIS PLACE STINKS AND IF YOU READ A GOOD ONE ITS EITHER THE MANAGMENT THEMSELEVES TRYING TO MAKE THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX SEEM GREAT, A SEACTION 8 PERSON ,A COP THAT MORE LIKELY GETS A HUGE KICK BACK OR A USE LESS DORM STUDENT

This is no safe place for individuals or families. You constantly hear about roberies/break-ins. If that wasn't enough, don't expect to get your deposit back. Apartments were bug infested. The maintenance staff was courteous. The rental office staff on the other hand is usually rude and insensitive.
