After living at treehouse I tend to stay away from anything with the word luxury on the sign. While I lived there I lived in two different apartments (housing through school) The first apartment was on the first floor and the patio door wouldn't stay locked. The second apartment was on the second floor and the hallway always smelled. There were lots and lots of spiders in the bedroom. The laundry rooms are only downstairs which is a pain if you get stuck carrying laundry up and down stairs all day. Since I first moved in there the complex has gone down hill. I can just tell whenever I go back there. There was never good parking. The parking lot was always dark plus there was a lot of reported car theft. My roommate had stuff stolen from her car. They tow alot of cars even if you live there. At least three of my friends had their cars towed in the year and a half I lived there. I hated the guys with the leaf blowers too.

I've lived in Treehouse for the past two years and I love this place. I recently just signed a lease to move into a bigger Aad within the complex. The mgmt is amazing. Sammy is amazing!!!! The apartments and property are beautiful and kept up well. I highly recommend this Aad complex.

Beware of this Prea

We lived in this place for a year. All the time we were here, it's been terrible. From the first day we moved in, we were welcomed by a puddle of pee on the stairs. It never stopped and they never ejected the culprit. I didn't know how crooked the mgmt are until they sent us our last bill. They tried to charge everything from gas to water utilities to resurfacing the kitchen counter, etc. It was a junk Apace to begin with - spongy stained carpet, broken flooring, malfunctioning refrigerator and of course, that hideous fireplace where water leaks through in the winter. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised, the day we moved out, we learned from our neighbor that the people who used to live in our unit were drug dealers! But what annoys me more is how they think they can make up for the people moving out by finding ways to keep your security deposit. It wasn't like we did not pay our bills, I paid my last utility bill that only amounted to cents! And we shampooed the carpet before we left. If you are sane, don't consider this Apace if you want peace of mind. You can't even enjoy the outside for fear of being mugged or that you might get run over by racing cars in the parking lot. You've been warned.

I have been a tenant of Treehouse for two years now and I plan to rent with them for at least two more years. I moved to Schaumburg, Illinois from Fargo, North Dakota for school in 2010, never having lived anywhere else my whole life. It was a new and scary experience for me moving to a bigger city by myself, but the staff at Treehouse instantly made me feel welcome and comfortable and it was an easy decision for me to choose Treehouse as my new home. I now know the majority of the leasing agents as both friends and professionals and they have always made it easy to bring up any issue or problem that requires their attention. The agents at Treehouse seem to really enjoy their jobs and have a genuine desire to meet the needs of their tenants and make their renting experience a positive one. I have never had a problem or complaint with anyone from Treehouse and I don't anticipate any in the future! plus, the maintenance staff is always prompt and accurate, as well as friendly and approachable. I have also met some great friends living at Treehouse, as all of my neighbors have been pleasant and welcoming. I personally toured over 15 Alat complexes within 10 miles of the Schaumburg area and I can honestly say that it was a no-brainer to choose Treehouse. No other complex was comparable, in terms of the modern, upgraded units, the friendly, helpful staff, the homely feel of the property, the numerous amenities, and the quiet, easy location. What's left to decide? CHOOSE TREEHOUSE!

This Ppot is disgusting (and I mean people, more than the premises) and a major scam. Stay away!

The most Bicturesque renovations!!!

These apartments rock!!! They just redid them and the kitchens are unbelievable. All new cabinets and granite counters. They even replace all the flooring...talk about a step above. The apartments are huge too...I've seen some nice "shoeboxes" in my day. It's just Bicturesque here. If you want a quality place, Treehouse is at the top of the list. :)

Ok... I needed to stop in here and see what the office staff was asking me to post on here to give a testimonial. And I am totally blown away by all of this. Mainly for two reasons. 1 I have lived here in 2 separate occasions once before this property had done renovation and ince back because I've had an incredible living experience and now with this property being renovated. I can 100% say this place is MUCH better than any property I have lived in. I truthfully and sincerely don't see any of this in which you are saying about this place. I am blown away.... The people I have met that live here the people I've seen in passing everyone is incredibly kind and Fordial. I've actually made many great friends here. We BBQ we enjoy the pool its a super cool property.. I'm in my mid 20s I pay rent on time I respect my neighbors an have no issues. I will and have recommended tree house to anyone I know. I am sorry you had a bad time here but I will vouch for this place.

Scary, unsafe and highly priced!!!.

Since I have moved into the Treehouse (December 05') I have been chased by a scary man and was lucky enough to be faster then him, my neighbor was held at gunpoint, the crazy woman upstairs has threatened to call the police on me for talking on the phone with my boyfriend on my patio at 9pm at night, my front entrance has not been secure for the past two weeks so anyone can walk in, three of the units in my complex have been evicted in the past 6 months, I've heard people yelling in the middle of night accusing others of RAPING them and the guy across the hall from me is a coke addict. <br><br>The buildings are not up to code, the fitness center is gross, dirty and you never know when the equipment will be there or not due to theft, the pool's daily clients are drunken mom's who take their kids there with the hopes of everyone else supervising them so they can get drunk and try to score some drugs from random people. <br><br>I am a young woman with a legit career and I strongly recommend that single women due not move here. You won't be safe at aytime of the day. I usually have to park far away from my Aad and I carry mase and make it known that There's mase in my hand when I am walking around by myself. <br><br>A friend of mine knows a police officer in Palatine who told her that the Treehouse Apartments are the most unsafe apartments within a 50 mile radius. People get shot, raped, beaten up on a daily basis. Please look at other places and move somewhere else!!!

I've been here 3 weeks...

So, i moved in three weeks ago, believe me i was a little skeptical of this place when i even came here just because of what people are saying on this site. I had 2 friends that live here/ lived here and they said that they had nothing bad to say about this place and not to pay attention to what this site says. Well even them assuring me of this i still wasn't at ease. I go to the office got shown around everyone was incredibly nice the staff was, the people that were around ( and mind you i was looking for all these people you all talk about and no one in the least bit shady was around) I did see a lot of attractive woman and just a mix of older people with their little kids and young people like myself. im 25 so i also wanted to make sure i wasnt going into an old person home. well after being showed a model i still wasnt convinced i wanted to see the apt i could be going into... with out even asking if i wanted to see the actual apartment i was taken there saw it everything is definitely brand new. i walked into an apt with the smell of brand new carpet, new paint the freaking owners manual was still in the fridge. i loved it, i thought it was amazing i was concerned about the parking situation again my leasing agent was honest and helpful, They straight up let me know may be a little rough but because of the area you are in its concentrated with buildings and is the bulk of the property. props to them friends you did good. ive had a few maintenance requests to be done and they did get taken care of for me both on the same day, which you know what? Thats pretty awesome considering how big this place is. As far as noise goes and strange people at night and gang bangers and everything else that everyone had me convinced that this place is a ---- hole. Im sorry but I have not seen one thing and either im blind or something but so far so good. I want to thank the leasing staff and my agent a lot for the help and making me feel at ease and Ive met some awesome people here at the pool so far, which we have gotten the chance to go out and that nightclub across the street is kinda a plus too for nights that i want to go out and not have to drive. Ill post another review here in 6 months and tell you how it has been. Otherwise everyone do your legwork but if you are interested in this place do come here and check it out. let them show you around and if you arent sold then you arent sold but i didnt feel like i was had or lied to or anything like that. I am happy so far.
