There have to be better places to rent! The walls are paper thin, noise is a consistent and major problem in this complex. Looks Novely from a distance but shotty work up close. There was always garbage, geese, and dog poop on the property. Not worth the price, a scam.

I moved out a few weeks ago. After 2 great years it was time for something bigger, and in the city. My 2 years at the treehouse were great. relaxing, and clean. The landscaping was always nice and well kept. I enjoyed coming home to my Aad. I liked that the Aad staff always waived when they drove by on their golf carts, and remembered my name. The maintenance crew was great. They were always there in a timely fashion and took care of all my problems. I really like that there were not 10000 people in each building it. Only 4 apartments per floor was perfect, I never had to worry about hearing the noises coming from the wall. This was a awesome spot to live, and I really enjoyed my time here. Thanks

I rented at Treehouse in 1990 - 1991, so this isn't going to be an accurate account of What's going on there today. But I am really confused about what I am reading here, because I drove through the complex a few nights ago and it appeared much the same as when I left. but, it was night time and I guess the outward appearance of the property can be deceiving, which makes review sites like this so valuable. While this complex wasn't what you'd call "top tier" even in 1990, it was considered a respectable address and was well-run and properly maintained. The landscaping - with ponds, bridges, and mature trees gave the place a desirable "park like" atmosphere. Rent was moderately high for the time. The population seemed to be primarily young professionals. (With Motorola and other "high tech" companies so close, this wasn't surprising to me.) At the least, I had the impression that everyone who lived there was paying their way and was involved in, um, legitimate life pursuits. I never at any time felt unsafe living there. A grill and patio furniture left out on a first floor patio were never disturbed, and I never gave a second thought to leaving those things out. Neighbors were not loud, and generally everyone kept to themselves. Occupancy of the complex was high and if I had one problem it was finding a parking spot close to my apartment entrance (I was toward the back on Olde Farm Rd). The apartment I moved into was clean, freshly painted, newly carpeted and had relatively new appliances. There was never any problem with infestations, water leaks, etc. I guess the place has long ago entered into a downward spiral, where deteriorating physical conditions are ignored, the people who can move out in droves, and mgmt fills the vacancies with welfare cases who accelerate the process. I'm sorry to hear about it, but glad I found out before I ever again mention to anyone who knows about it that I actually lived there.

The Treehouse Apartments have been a home to me for nearly 3 years. My first Aad was a one bedroom and after a year decided to move to a larger 2 bedroom. As far as the apartments go, they are nicely upgraded and have luckily had some pretty awesome neighbors by both apartments. Since I have moved apartments here once before, I did receive all of my deposits back from the first Aad and will expect to get my deposit back from this Aad because of the great shape It's in. The office staff is friendly and any time I stop by for a package or call, they know me by name. Sadly I will likely be moving soon, but to a house of my own! While in the process of looking for a house in the Schaumburg area I had stumbled across this site and decided to take a look at Treehouse. I find it interesting that they have a 68% rating. Looking into other places around the neighborhood I did notice Treehouse actually has higher rated than most other complexes and with a lot more reviews! Anwaysssss The community is great, and would definitely recommend living here. Mostly cranky people only seem to rant on this site, so I am happy to post a good review on here because I believe most of the happy people don t think to leave reviews online. Rich

They don't put all the reviews on the site. Remember, just call the Schaumburg Police department and ask. They are going to put washing machines on every floor which will increase the water bill you already pay for. The monthly bill will be high in the winter months people dont be fooled. You need to notice that the people who respond to the reviews are all the same - there friends. Listen to me, you will pay out of your behind at the end of your lease. They are going to remodel some apartments soon. You will still have to pay money even when they are going to toss the stuff in your Auite. You will pay. YOU WILL PAY YOU WILL PAY. NO
