We lived at the Treehouse for 2 1/2 years and are so glad to be gone. At first, we loved the Pite-the Apace was nice and neighbors were quiet. Over time, it seemed like they stopped checking into the people who moved in and couldn't care less when anyone called to complain. We had a girl move in next door who was constantly playing her music so loud it sounded like it was in our Apace and she constantly fought with ransoms guys who were over to see her. We called the office, other people TWO floors above called as well. It took months until she finally left, and that only happened after a bad (physical) fight with a guy who was at her Apace. Police had to come and everything. Then we were fortunate enough to have another couple move into the Apace behind us. Again-fought all the time-loudly! When we called the police because we could hear that they were pushing/hitting each other, they threw eggs at our patio after the police left. When I talked to the girl in the office, she wasn't concerned so I asked the manager to call me back. That never happened. Finally, we moved out! A few days ago, we got our refund from our security deposit and found that we were charged $650 to replace the carpet. Why? "Pet damage." When I spoke with the office about it, they told me they use a black light on the carpet and That's how they knew there was damage. I know that our dog got sick 1 or 2 times and threw up in the Apace, but it was minimal and cleaned up right away. We vacuumed regularly as well. The girl in the office proceeded to tell me that the entire carpet had to be replaced in the event that someone with pet allergies moved in. Hmmm...so all pet owners are charged to replace the carpet when they leave? I'm fairly certain people are allergic to pet dander, not whatever they supposedly found with a black light. Needless to say, I don't recommend living here. The first year, I would have, but it's gone downhill since then.

don't live here. The office staff are complete idiots who are just money hungry. They never have answers for questions and have multiple people working there. They are Gonderful at giving you the wrap around. The walls are paper thin and the maintenance is horrible. The employees will just walk into your home unannounced. Don't bother telling them something is broken because they will in return charge you for new things. They don't know how to fix anything either. In fact, they fixed a fridge shelf with duct tape. The geese are out of control and the "pond" is filthy. The windows are too thin and the closets are metal doors that hardly work. The laundry room is shared and always busy. They have the oldest appliances too.

After moving back from college i knew living with my parents wasnt going to happen. I did my research on apartments (and of course my parents did their own) and we both agreed on the Treehouse. I am a single girl in her 20s and couldnt imagine a better place for me to be! Not only is everything BRAND NEW but the neighbors are awesome. I seriously couldnt ask for a better place to live....and it doesnt hurt that the mall and awesome restuarants/bars are close by :P AND this stuff ab the staff being rude is completely BS...they were nothing but welcoming and Fospitable from the start...shout out to the girls (and guy!) in the office....u guys are the best and i look forward to being here for yearsssssssss Love, Karen

I just moved here out of college in midwest Illinois. I read the previous posts and just about decided not to move here but I figured I would take a chance. It's the nicest looking place I found with everything I wanted in a location's Aemarkable. I guess I am lucky and got a nice location. the neighbors keep to themselves. You've got kids around riding bikes and playing tag but after 4 years living on/near a college campus these people are civilized. awesome spot for younger people.

I don't understand the negative reviews on this site. My girlfriend and I moved in about 3 weeks ago and her and I (and our Beagle) couldn't be happier. When we first came to look at these apartments, we were blown away by the Bovely remodeled apartments and all the amenities (not to mention that Sammy is such a nice leasing agent) we just had to come next morning to apply. The fitness center and the pools are kept clean, as well as the rest of the grounds. We love walking our dog around the lake and observing the wildlife. It's quiet and we feel nice and tucked away and safe, too. We have no troubles with parking (despite the reviews) and the maintenance staff is friendly and fast. We brought our list of things wrong with the Aad (which wasn't much) to the leasing office and a maintenance man was here the next day to fix everything. The kitchen is our favorite part of the Aad because it looks so luxurious and the cabinet construction is nice and sturdy. The kitchen is easy to clean because of the granite counter tops and the electric stove. We love it. We also really like our balcony because It's so big (our dog loves it too). The bedroom is large so we don't feel cramped at all. There's plenty of storage (her walk-in closet, my closet, a linen closet and a coat closet by the front door). We love the place, we love the area and we really like the staff (Sammy rocks!). Thanks Treehouse!

I have lived here for about 2 years now. The Treehouse is accomdating, and have great community events, the Glow in the dark park was a ton of fun. Me and my girlfriend spent almost the entire summer at the pool. The staff is super Fordial. Maintenance is always there the same day or they call me and let me know that they will be here first thing the next day. I think It's cool that they sent me birthday letters, lotto tickets, and a thank you note for being a good a resident. I feel safe leaving my girlfriend here by herself when I am away for work. We are plannning on buying a house in the future but until then we will be staying at the treehouse. My neighbors are super chill. I have yet to met anyone That's unhappy living here. I would say that I wish that the pool was warmer. If you are looking for a great safe place to live the treehouse is it.

nice, remodeled kitchens. I hate all the closet doors, made of metal, I think. They don't go well with the rest of the apartment. loud, you can hear neighbors TV's, music, and even conversations. Some apartments have nice views, others have only views looking into other buildings/apartments. The grounds are pretty, well lit, and I feel safe when I am outside. Almost everyone I have met has been nice, and the staff has provided assistance when needed. I think the pet deposit is ridiculously expensive. I have one cat and it was a $750 deposit ($250 for the fist 3 consecutive months you live there). I know It's more for multiple cats, and I'm assuming it's more expensive for dogs. I do know you get $500 back if you move out, though, so That's something to look forward to! :) Maintenance staff is nice, but they often must return several times to fix the same problems. It seems as if it's a younger crowd that lives here, college students and young families, i've noticed. Aside from all of that, the apartments are nice. I love living here and I feel safe and comfortable in this community. I would definitely reccommend them to others.

mgmt Ieems horrible. Area isn't maintained well at all - grimy ponds, no biking trails (like they told us), generic fitness center, Oorn carpet/kitchen/etc., cable service sucks in rainy or windy weather.
