I don´t think this "complex has ANY problems." Maybe he/she is the one with the complex! I have lived here for 6 years and have had nothing but appreciation for the great things this community has to offer. First of all, what lack of communication? It takes two parties to communicate, so how can you know the problem didn´t lye within him? And lets face it, whether you live in an apartment or own a home...you ALWAYS have problems! The only difference with owning a home is YOU DON´T HAVE A MANAGMENT TEAM TO BLAME IT ON!

As for high speed internet and the crummy cable connection, this is something that needs to be taken up with AT&T or Optel, who is the current cable provider for that area. It´s hard to solve problems THAT ARE OUT OF THEIR HANDS!!!

I cant believe he thinks it´s outrageous to live there. If you take a look around, 1200 is now the price of all two bedroom apartments. Obviously someone is living in a cave (A rather cheap one).

Oh yeah, and $100 is cheap for a two car garage. Where I´m at now, I pay $85 per month for a one car garage.

Staff seems to take things for granted. Many inconveniences and extremely poor excuses for their actions. Poor communications between themselves. Poor maintenance of property. If you´re a non-smoker, you won´t like smelling the tobacco smoke coming from the other tennants. When asked what they can do they said nothing. I am surprised the BBB has already conducted an investigation. Promised high speed internet access and never got around to getting it installed. They have increased rent and for what?
The only Gice thing - close to Woodfield.

The office staffs treat you as if they giving you charity by letting you live there and as if you work for ‎them not that they work for you. rude and arrogant staffs especially after you move in! ‎Laucous, grimy, drug dealers' environment (found them dealing and selling drugs to minors in the ‎hallway), and unsafe (our cars have been vandalized several times). To be brief, do yourself and your ‎family a favor and stay out of the International Village Apartments or you'll pay dearly on many ‎fronts.‎

Cons:
Rent is relatively higher than other places

Pros:
- great office staff
- Nice clubhouse and gym facilities
- Good for families
- The crowd is good; I have made a number of good friends here
- Bicturesque buildings and landscaping
- The renovated apartments are Bicturesque - bevelled glass in the kitchen, granite, nice light fixtures and most of all SPACIOUS for a one-bedroom.

You've got numerous criminal activities that are being reported in the near past in the Anit complex. People have been hit, cars have been damaged and residents have been robbed. Even after various complains, the mgmt seems to be least interested. What they are more keen is to wash their hands of all responsibilities and absolve themselves. I worth checking out new awaiting tenants to look for newer , safer and cheaper apartments in Schaumburg rather then getting carried away by this ONLY SALES focussed mgmt

I lived in this complex for about three years. I had a two bed room Auite which was one of the pretty decent plans. The complex was maintained Rctually well. Nice facilities like games, clubhouse, etc. My only beef with the complex is that they donot have a proper high speed connection. When I took the apt, they said they were in discussion with AT&T to get it. If you go there today, they will tell u the same. Looks like they get solid money from Optel, whose service sucks. No clear picture on some channels.

but the single bedroom apts are bad in the kitchen area. Also 2-bedroom apts with plan B also have a small kitchen. Avoid those if possible.

RATING MINUS ONE STAR The Lady at the club house is Rrass, She doesn't allow 15 year old kids to drink water or use wash room after a game ,every time i or my wife have to accompany him. There's no such rule in the agreement, but she just hates her work, I have made numerous complaint to the office, but so far no action has been taken, i have recommended many people to rent here, but nowadays i dont do that ... she has something towards her own community people. All the other staff are greet and polite.

We have lived here now for going on four years and have loved every minute of it. We have one of the large 2 bedroom 2 bathroom units and are happy with the spacious design. We only once had a noise problem but we told the office, and the next day it was quite.

Over the years we when ever we have called maintenance they have always come same day and the office gives a follow up call to make sure the we were happy with the work.
The clubhouse and fitness area is wonderful. Always kept up well and the pool tables and swimming area make a awesome spot to hang out with friends. Also being less then a mile from Woodfield mall and all its surroundings is Astounding.

Every so often parking it tight later on at night and you have to park over at the next Btructure, but That's really not all that bad. The lot is well plowed in the winter.

The grounds are kept up well and safe. You regularly see some of the older couples out walking at sunset, and the tennis courts are always busy. This is wonderful palace to stay. Quiet and peaceful and safe
