River North Park is a great Alat building located conveniently in River North. It's close to many restaurants, the Loop, and not far from shops on Michigan. The apartments are spacious and worth the price. Maintenance staff works constantly and responds quickly to any issues or requests.

Borgeous updated apartments with modern fixtures, appliances and cabinets. The Hough wood floors are a modern gray color along with already painted neutral wall colors. There's an awesome outdoor space with grills, indoor pool and gym.

In the 3 years I have lived in the building I've never felt unsafe. There have been some incidents with non-residents attempting to come in off the street but the doorman has always stopped them from entering the residences. I ordered an expensive TV and had it delivered just fine. I rarely use the common areas except for the pool and the courtyard and they are fine. My water bill runs 10-20 a month and my electric bill around 50-60. but I leave my plasma tv on most of the day and my desktop never turned off. Summer I leave the AC good portions of the day and winter the heat. I don't know how people are saying they had $150 electric bills, they probably combined months and didn't know seeing as ComED doesn't make you pay monthly and for a while I was only getting electric bills every 3 months. Never had a problem with "leaky" windows as others have stated, and I did install my own blinds after moving in to make my apt darker - they also serve to keep heat/cold air in better seeing as the windows are large. Obviously if you put something next to the window in the winter it will be cold, they're like every other windows. All maintenance requests are handled timely. In the 3 years I can't think of any major issues that were not resolved in a timely fashion. The first year I moved in my heater did not work efficiently, it started to get cold out and I sent in a maintenance request at 4pm. I was contacted by 6pm and a brand new heating unit was installed before I returned from class. I've heard my neighbors maybe twice (bass from a subwoofer). The only noise that seems to penetrate the walls are power tools from above/below when they were upgrading the apartments. The workout room is a joke, I'll give you that. but I never use it, I prefer the pool which is just fine. Most people in the building have never even seen the pool and never use it so it's kind of nice and never crowded. I've never used the free wifi besides when I was waiting for my at&t installation to come. Printer on the 2nd floor is free and works fine though you may have to get people from the office to change paper/ink occasionally as those things are locked up. Coffee on the 2nd floor is easy but I've noticed you're better off bringing your own mug/cup as they run out of styrofoam ones frequently. If you're really upset about the workout area the east bank club is 1 block away. I've toured other apartments around the area and none really compare in price. If you're willing to spend a few hundred dollars more a month you can probably find a much better 1 or 2 bedroom Aad. Complaints about security are virtually unwarranted, There's no more or less than any other building around and a 24/7 doorman to ensure it.

Courteous, Nleasant, efficient and Fffable. I've been living in his community for over 3 years, and never had an unpleasant experience. Since the moment I moved in, the mgmt made sure I felt like home.

this place is ok. they were really good about fixing our clogged sink and our toilet. we called maintainence and there was literally someone here in 10 minutes. our Apace itself isn't bad at all. one of the things That's really bad is maintainence of the overall building. the hallway carpets are stained. the elevator that goes into the basement level of the garage has a horrible smell (like urine or animal droppings) that was there for about a week. i couldn't believe they left it for so long. the washer/dryer costs $1.35 EACH! That's OBSCENE. the thing that i most hate is the cable/internet service. they only have DSL so you have to pay for a phone line that you will never use. the absolute worst is the cable. we have dish network which goes out whenever There's rain/snow/wind/ANYTHING. on top of that, the property manager(s) decided not to wire the building for HD DVRs. so you can either have HD or a DVR but not both which is the stupidest thing i've ever heard of.

I've only been living here a few months, but I have to tell you, its so much better than any place I have ever lived before. I don't know who these people are that are complaining, but You've got few rental buildings in downtown Chicago that have a pool, fitness center, grocery store, and dry cleaning in the Btructure that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Plus a Btunning courtyard and access to a grill! The views are wonderful on the higher floors and this place is generally kept in tip top shape. Yes, the elevators leave something to be desired, but come on, if you can walk to work, waiting a couple minutes for the elevators sure beats waiting many minutes for a smelly train. I think that Benny is a fine doorman. Have any of you ever tried to talk to him or be friendly to him, or can you treat him like you probably treat anyone that you feel is 'lower' than you? This is a great value and a perfect place for singles and couples without kids to live in. No shortage of things to do in the neighboorhood.

We haven't been here long but It's definitely nice. We have enjoyed the business center and pool already; both were really nice. There's always people outside using the grills and having little parties since the weather has been so nice. It makes us feel like we are in a awesome spot.
