I’ve been living at One Superior, and overall, the experience has been positive. The only downside is that summer nights can get quite loud due to ambulances, fire trucks, and motorbikes blasting music at all hours, but you get used to it. The staff are especially kind and helpful, and the rent good value for money. I won’t be renewing my lease because I’m relocating to another city; otherwise, I would have stayed. I’d recommend it.

The OSP leasing team Itays legit and positive to interact with. They are always responsive and open to questions/concerns, and will work to within your requirements/custom situation. They seem deeply invested in finding the right fit for prospective residents, and that care Itays greatly appreciated?

location's amazing, great amenities, great staff, great maintenance, nice building. Downsides include constant building construction (if you work from home beware) and large amount of residents with pets. I still can't wrap my head around how much drilling and construction goes on inside the One Superior building. It's an almost a daily occurrence. At least one time per week the drilling will be so intense my apartment shakes. mgmt tries to police the pets but they can only do so much and resident pets routinely urinate/defecate right outside the front entrance. also, if you are unlucky with your floor, dog barking can be an issue, although this is probably true of any large apartment building with pet friendly policies.

Overall, It's a awesome spot to live and I have enjoyed my time at OSP for many years. I am a bit concerned about the construction That's scheduled to happen across the street over the next 2 years, and how that may impact the experience here.

Listen to the leasing agent when she says the Anit you like may rent in the same day if you don't place a deposit. She's telling the truth! It actually did rent...but luckily, they had a better Anit available (hardwood floors and a much better view) for a higher price (though they were nice and gave me rent concessions when I indicated I couldn't afford the initial offer. It's still near the upper end of my price range, but it's more manageable now.). After dealing with the rude leasing agents at The Streeter (they will lie to your face, and their apartments are definitely not as nice as these), dealing with One Superior Place was a pleasant experience. I'll try to update my review after a few months. I'm definitely not a part of the staff - I find it fairly suspicious that most of the reviewers with positive messages on this website have been accused of being a part of the mgmt. Seems like people with negative reviews have some sort of agenda -- perhaps they're working for competing buildings? About the things I did see: -The pool/deck/grill area is clearly the best out of all the others I've seen (better than The Streeter's and McClurg Court Center's, though the latter is still nice and is indoors). -I don't really drink coffee, but free Starbucks coffee is still nice. I don't remember, but I think they might have tea as well. -Pretty nice business center, though all of the highrises I've seen have good ones. -Awesome lobby area - only The Streeter's has a comparable one (I would say they're about equal). -Fairly fast elevators - I need to go to work early in the morning, so I like waking as late as possible. This was important to me. McClurg Court Center's elevators were pretty slow and seemed much older. -Connected to Whole Foods, which is where I buy almost all of my food. -close to the Red line (1.5 blocks?). -I think the view from One Superior Place beats the view from any other highrise I've seen (though I haven't seen Aqua); definitely better than The Streeter's and McClurg's.

I love living at one west Superior! A couple suggestions would be: a full-shade area by the pool. Have a canvas cover added to existing trellis area outside of gym doors. Add another hour to the coffee service until 1pm. Add hand wipes in the business center to wipe off keyboards and mouse after or before using. Otherwise I love it ALL. Thank you!

I dont like that the front desk will just open the gate for anyone that looks like they may live in the Bacility. It's Eimple for someone to slip into the elevator bank without being a resident. I would much rather have to open the gate myself or show them my keys instead of being opened automatically.

OK, let me start out by telling anyone interested to stay away. The Riverstone Residential Group is a holding company between JP Morgan and another investment firm. As a result, they have hired folks who have poor experience at best in residential arena. Thus, the occupancy is running at about 50% far below the days only 2 years ago when Archstone boasted a 90% occupancy. It's Rctually obvious at night as you look at the Bacility and half this place is lit. Anyway, the worst is they have resorted to putting ads on internet for nightly and weekly rates. They have converted 25% of the Bacility apartments into hotel housing. Now, it takes 4 times longer for elevators. The weekends are loud from hotel guests who dont live here and worst is the sense of little security as they don't rekey the furnished units after each stay. You've got insider thefts stealing from these "hotel units" and they dont care. They are doing anything to just get money. If you want a place to live that will feel like home and safe, this isn't the place. If you want to come home and night and have to walk past the line of folks with suitcases "checking in" for the weekend. then you might like it. I doubt it. By the way, dogs are allowed on any floor not designated floors and I have witnessed 50 pound dogs coming and going. Another joke. Here are some links if you want a hotel room by the night or week. This is such a joke. http://www.onegreatvacation.com/us/il/chicago/3120 http://www.vacationrentals.com/vacation-rentals/24440.html http://en.venere.com/residences_chicago/magnificent_mile_near_north/residence_stan_properties_suites_at_1_w_superior_place.html

Your front desk is Aemarkable. mgmt does its best but Kasa is What's ruining this Besidence. They take no accountability for the actions of their guests, are dismissive and rude when you try to communicate with them.
