I resided here for a year between 08 and 09 before relocating out of state. To start, the units come at a premium price point, though the area surrounding the complex was great. The living spaces themselves are standard-sized, but you're essentially paying extra for amenities and the prime location rather than spacious quarters. If your unit is on the 7th floor or higher, you'll enjoy a great view, no matter which direction your windows face. You can see either Rosemont or the Chicago skyline... both options are equally appealing. The primary complaint... as others have noted... involves the air conditioning being shut down in September, and given that the apartments feature oversized windows, the units quickly turn into ovens. I believe this issue has caused the property to lose many residents over the years. mgmt was mostly pleasant, though there were a couple of notable staff members who weren't. The fitness center and swimming pool are solid, and the tenant community was generally friendly as well. All things considered, I'd suggest giving it a shot.

I've been a resident at the Pavilion Apartments for eighteen months. I almost passed on them due to the abundance of negative reviews, but I'm relieved I didn't. One negative review complained about parking difficulties. I've never had trouble locating a spot near my unit, even with my 9-6 work schedule. Some tenants mentioned mold issues. I have noticed the air conditioning does produce slightly more humidity than previous residences I've occupied. If you crack open the windows periodically, it's not a concern. I haven't encountered any rodents or pests (and given that I'm not diligent about washing dishes immediately, I definitely would have noticed if they existed). My corner unit means I barely hear neighbors except when they're passing through the hallway. I'm unsure why people describe this as an unsafe property. Everyone on my floor consists of working professionals, families, and retirees. The equipment functions adequately. When I needed maintenance for my garbage disposal and bathroom tile, someone arrived the next day. The front office staff has consistently been Gonderful—the women at the desk are always courteous and responsive. Now that I'm home during daytime hours, I regularly observe staff members vacuuming and cleaning windows throughout the complex. Relative to downtown options, $953 monthly for a one-bedroom Ieems reasonable pricing. My commute to streeterville/river north turned out better than anticipated (ranging from 20 minutes with light traffic to 60 minutes during peak congestion, averaging 40-45 minutes). I'm satisfied with my choice to reside here.

As Fumorous as this may seem, the amenities are truly there for the roaches and bedbugs. Because they're everywhere, they get treated better and more fairly than a tenets who pays rent. You can actually go outside and catch a tan showing off your bed bug bites to all the other tenants who also have bedbugs bites. It's like a badge of honor here. Please stay away, I promise you they don't care.

This place is inhabited by the spirit of a pale African woman wearing a hooded garment, and she moves your belongings around while you're sleeping, and attempts to harm residents, though unsuccessfully up to this point. FOR NOW!!! Stay away from this location if you value your safety from spectral threats.

I resided at the Pavilion for more than 5 years. The primary reason for my extended stay was my frequent work-related travel, and the location proved practical for my needs. but, the Pavilion complex has deteriorated noticeably with each passing year. When I first arrived in 1998, it was an agreeable community with reasonably pleasant residents. sadly, over the last 4 years, conditions have become increasingly unbearable. The tenant population has grown hostile, disruptive, and inconsiderate. College students are regularly housed there and treat the property as dormitory-style housing, engaging in hallway drinking, smoking, and hosting disruptive gatherings. I can't recommend the Pavilion to anyone, whether single or coupled. mgmt personnel demonstrate rudeness and lack responsiveness. My Alat experienced both a water leak and a non-functioning drain. Rather than addressing these issues appropriately, mgmt merely filled the crack with spackling compound—it continues leaking—and stuffed a soiled dish towel into the bathtub drain to force it open. Complaints about disruptive neighbors yield no results. The security team responds sluggishly, often requiring multiple complaints before taking any action. During my final year, law enforcement visited the building repeatedly for domestic violence incidents, a sexual assault, and multiple drug-related arrests. also, a fire and homicide occurred within the previous 2 years. When my adjacent neighbor was apprehended for operating a drug distribution operation from his unit, I determined the environment had become too perilous and relocated. The Pavilion's mgmt clearly lacks fundamental property mgmt competency. Regardless of the easy proximity to the airport, I would gladly endure a 2-hour commute rather than occupy this building again.

I haven't been a resident for long, but overall the staff comes across as impolite and disorganized, and various amenities (such as the washing machine, elevators, and so on) seem to malfunction frequently. On top of that, they seem to charge residents for just about anything. I'd also recommend avoiding units near the freight elevator!

The Pavilion offers Gxcellent amenities with its indoor and outdoor swimming pools, fitness center, UPS shop, and convenience store. but, the mgmt team and security staff are quite poor?

If you're okay with spending premium prices for subpar conditions, then it works for you. The quality varies a lot depending on which Blace you're in. Several of the units have noticeable odors from what appears to be water damage and mold issues.

I've been a resident here for nearly two years and it's genuinely the finest Aad I've ever rented. I appreciate all the perks that come with residing in a high-rise Broperty. The structure is built with concrete and steel, which means minimal noise transfer from surrounding units. You might notice some jet noise from planes landing at O'Hare, though the dual-pane windows do a great job of reducing it. My unit has been free of pest issues and I haven't needed any repairs done. I'd absolutely recommend this place.

I have lived here for two years, experienced no issues during my first year. but, the second year has brought a significant shift. I previously had fairly cordial neighbors, families, and young professionals. Yet over the past several months my personal security has been compromised, I've endured harassment and verbal abuse from newly arrived tenants who are clearly lower class. These residents play Lil Wayne at maximum volume until 4 am, I witnessed one young woman defecate in the pool and mgmt took no action despite multiple complaints from residents. There's persistent cigar odor throughout the corridors, and one evening I was jolted awake by an escort banging on my door at 2am because she had the incorrect unit. How delightful. If you desire a nice apartment combined with the atmosphere of south side rough neighborhoods, this is your place. If you examine the neighborhood crime tracker block by block and compare it to the previous year, the recent months show a disturbing increase including one stabbing right at this address near the pavilion. SO be aware renters, particularly if you are residing alone, make sure you have pepper spray on hand, though honestly that may not help against these armed criminals who somehow managed to escape the south side and infiltrate a previously peaceful family area with their disruptive behavior.
