The most attractive thing that led me to live at Regents Park is its fantastic view of Michigan Lake with a reasonable price! The transportation is convenient, too, both to UChicago campus and downtown. However, there's no restaurant or grocery store nearby and the market downstairs is terrible, where expired food is still on the shelf and I even found so many worms in their chocolates! Never go the market downstairs (floor -1)!

Regents is professionally run. People live and let live here. We smell marijuana every night when we come home, but it doesn't bother us. LOL. Everyone has been very friendly. Security is taken very seriously, so that helps us feel safe. The lake views are wonderful.

I like this community. I've lived in this area for twenty years without any problems.Regents Park is a very safe building. I can't speak about the new construction going on because it's not finished yet but it looks interesting and convenient.
