Even though it's been quite some time, the Awful experience I endured at the Blue Whale remains etched in my memory.
.) Security: The rear entrance remained perpetually unlocked, allowing unhoused individuals to camp out in the hallways and laundry facilities.
.) The laundry facility lacked proper air circulation, creating a humid, jungle-like atmosphere. One time I stepped inside and discovered water cascading down from above like an indoor downpour.
.) The elevator was genuinely frightening. It consistently malfunctioned and wouldn't arrive at the correct level, so if I got close enough, I'd abandon it and walk up the stairs instead. also, obscene drawings covered the elevator walls. The stench was so overwhelming that I placed an air freshener in there, which vanished within 24 hours.
.) The stairwell reeked terribly! It was obvious that people were using it as a restroom.
.) My unit was filthy upon arrival. Previous occupants had left furnishings behind, and mgmt just threw down a revolting carpet to conceal the mold-covered, blackened bathroom tiles.
.) Upkeep was bad. Repairs simply never happened.
.) Residing on the highest level meant snow regularly seeped through the roofing above us.
.) The unit was freezing in winter, forcing us to operate the kitchen stove for heat—an extremely unsafe practice.
.) mgmt claimed we owed back rent despite the fact that we'd actually paid extra.
.) My vehicle got towed from my assigned $55-per-month parking space. I had to retrieve it from the impound lot myself, and mgmt never informed me about updating my parking validation.

These are the main grievances I recall, though there were certainly others.
