My spouse and I chose this residence because it sits conveniently between both of our workplaces. We occupy a one-bedroom unit. We were drawn to renting here initially due to its cleanliness, security, and pet-friendly policy (including dogs, not just cats). The unit features a functioning dishwasher, which is definitely a plus. There's a gym accessible on-site that's acceptable, and since it's bundled into the rent, there's nothing to complain about. sadly, the kitchen is rather cramped, which isn't ideal given that we enjoy cooking. (We were so focused on the dishwasher that we overlooked this limitation when we signed the lease.) On the positive side, the bedroom comes with a generously sized walk-in closet. The majority of our neighbors are friendly and regular people. The rent is steeper than what we hoped to spend, particularly for a suburb like Des Plaines that isn't particularly upscale, but we couldn't locate anything more budget-friendly without sketchy conditions. All in all, our stay has been satisfactory. We're relocating once our lease ends, but it's due to a job change rather than moving to a different unit locally.
