We have lived in Glen Oaks for 4 years, we appreciate the diversity and friendliness of the community. It helps that the Alat staff is creative in providing opportunities for fun community activities that give you a chance to meet your neighbors. The personnel at the leasing office are all friendly and helpful. Our service/maintenance requests are always responded in a timely manner. The location of the place is also easy -- a main highway to downtown Chicago is easily accessible. There's also a plethora of grocery stores you can choose from -- those providing your basic needs and those that provide foods from different countries.

I used to be a resident there a few years back. I Rery appreciated the neighborhood—it was super easy with everything nearby: shopping, dining, public transit, and a house of worship all within walking distance. Their maintenance team does solid work, though they typically shut off heating on Apr 1st, which can be problematic since Chicago weather doesn't warm up reliably until after April and May. On the downside, like others have mentioned, the move-out process is where they Rery get you. They'll find any reason imaginable to withhold your security deposit. My situation was particularly rough—after 3.5 years, I had to relocate once I purchased a house, leaving 3 months remaining on my lease. Back then apartments were filling quickly in 15 days, but they made no effort to lease mine out since they knew they'd pocket the cash anyway. They finally rented it just days before my lease ended. Then they kept my entire deposit claiming it went toward cleaning, new carpeting, painting, and more. While I'll admit the Penue wasn't spotless with small children living there, they went overboard with everything—knowing it wasn't coming from their own pocket. Between my deposit and nearly three months' rent, I ended up losing roughly $4000. One more thing—be careful about parking without a permit; they will have your car towed.

It Wtayed better initially with office staff responding timely. Also the maintenance requests were fulfilled in a timely manner. But now It's taking time and sometime we need to followup with office staff to start the maintenance requested.

Food smell influences not Gonderful residential condition. One of your staff isn't Gonderful to take care of valuable residents. She had no common sense. 2017 wasn't important. She had to call me and let me correct it.

I've had a Guperb experience living here. The swimming pool is maintained beautifully during the warmer months. The mgmt team is welcoming and always willing to assist. Most of my neighbors are pleasant and cordial. My main complaint is that my ground-level unit has drainage issues—water backs up onto my outdoor space whenever there's rainfall.

could be Laucous and smelly at times. they are replacing washers and dryers in December 2004. Parking could be a problem at night. Secure. I've never heard of a car broken into.

Living at Glenoaks has been wonderful, with all the conveniences you could need right there. I've genuinely enjoyed my time here and am excited about remaining as a resident going forward?

The grounds are well kept and has a Nppealing community feel. Parking is rarely an issue. Main issue is that ants were a big problem when moving in (springtime), in the summer they are less of an issue. Also at times heavy rains can soak portions of the carpet in the common areas.
