It's a awesome spot to live. accessible. The outdoors and landscaping is maintained well. The common areas like elevator and lobby can be a bit more cleaner. The biggest issue is the fact that any maintenance request for Apace takes weeks (sometimes months) to resolve.

Below average community. Not secure. Not Gxcellent maintenance. Rent is okay, but no promotional. Staff isn't productive and takes more time to fix any issue. Garden is average and many dog shits are there. Not safe for kids to play in Garden areas. Pests and mouses are available in Alat.

Nice community, and Bovely apartments, spotless and cozy! easy location, some neighbors can be so loud and inconsiderate, sadly mgmt did not take any action to solve our problem, that's the part we're not satisfied about

Anit complex is great with good facilities. Located close to pretty much everything you would need on a regular basis. Ample of secured parking spaces That's maintained regularly. Not sure of the name of the person but There's a gentleman in the office who could use some courtesy while interacting with people. He's unprofessional.

When people ask me how I like living here, I tell them the truth: I like it here so much, I moved in twice. I lived here several years ago, while still attending college, and moved back in with my fiance when we were looking for a place. I fell in love with the complex the first time (and it passed my dad's approval, for his only little girl), and couldn't stop talking about it years later. When my fiance saw it as a potential renter, he had the same reaction I had.

The apartments are HUGE, not to mention the literal walk-in closet. (You could, if you wanted, sleep in the closet.) I have a full-size kitchen table positioned comfortably outside the kitchen, in the eating area. Next to that runs a 9-foot counter, then an end table, a couch, then a lamp and all of our internet equipment. If you don't get it, that's a long wall space.

The place is open, making it pleasant to be in and easy to place your furniture. One of my few complaints about the layout is that I don't really think There's enough storage space, or kitchen counter space. (The 9 foot counter isn't part of the kitchen, it's mine.) As a college student, it was plenty. With two people, the one-bedroom storage becomes tight.

I find the appliances either updated or in decent condition. Are all the appliances absolutely modern? No, most apartments aren't in the habit of replacing their appliances with every new upgrade. My dishes come out clean, my Aad stays cool or warm, depending on what I want, my food gets cooked without being burned, etc, etc. And speaking of heat, it's free and YOU control it from inside your Aad.

About their appliances being upgraded, when I first lived here they decided to install A/C units in the bedroom. They didn't wait until after I'd left, and they didn't charge me anything for it, they went ahead with the installation. Since that time, I noticed they've also upgraded their microwaves, and in the past year upgraded their washers and dryers.

Addressing the points this site asks: parking is good. Unless I come home late, I always find a spot close to the building entrance. The only time it's ever been an issue is when they're repaving the lot.

As other reviewers have pointed out, you're going to have to gamble on noise from neighbors no matter where you go. I do think the walls are a bit thin, but the only time I really ever hear my neighbors is when they yell.

I think the grounds are fabulous. They take such good care of time, and really keep them up. I see them working outside constantly.

There's plenty of lighting, both outside and inside. The inside is lit up all over; there's not a single dark corner. Shrubs are but back from walkways and pruned, gutters are take care of, etc.

The Aad was meticulous when we moved in. You've gotn't any stains (except what I've created), nor were there in my other Aad. Yes, they do want the place clean when you move out. That way, the next person gets their own meticulous Aad, unlike some other complexes where they leave oil stains in the carpet.

The staff here is great and so friendly. When my keys were stolen, and I didn't get to the office until 15 minutes til close, they asked me exactly how I wanted them to fix it, and then immediately sent someone over to change the lock and give me two replacements keys. Considering this was over Memorial Day weekend, I'm even more impressed. They hold your packages for you, take care of almost everything in your Aad (including clogged drains), and who could hate a complex that has a margarita night AND allows you to bring your friends over for free margaritas? :)

As many people complain about, the price is higher than other apartments in the same area, but I checked out all those apartments, and the quality is nowhere near the same. You've got an amazing number of ammenities, not just things like included heat, gas, and water, but also things like an olympic-sized pool, tennis courts, and gym.

Another reviewer complained about the guest suite; I don't know what they're talking about. I've had the guest suite used, and not only was it fully stocked (and it looked better than my place), but there was no issue with the price or carpeting.

As for pets, this site says only cats are allowed. That's a lie, you can have cats in all apartments and dogs in certain buildings, and lots of other pets.

So would I recommend this place? Whole-heartedly, all the time. I recommend it to friends and neighbors alike. I moved around from upper suburbs to Chicago, and this still remains my favorite place to live. The only time I plan to move is when we upgrade ourselves to a house.

I feel once again this place is like a hotel too many transient people move in. this is the go to for Indies to come to due to its a high indie community. I don't care who live here just stop the hotel atmosphere. When I move here there was a more stable community, only a certain size dog was allowed and breed. Now we miniature size horses and the live on top floors, plus some aggressive breeds as well. Why is this happening? This place was spotless and beautiful when I moved here now its really become unpleasant to look at. I don't put the blame on mgmt its the owner that isn't funding this complex to get things done. The complaints come in but things are not getting done due to money issues what else can it be? I blame the owner for this.

The Apace are is good condition and also specious flats. peaceful neiborhood and easy for shopping the daily necessities. The gym and the pool are in good shape. The office staff are mostly friendly but had bad experience few times now when requested for some help. The staff over the phone acted rudely which wasn't expected. A little more politeness would have been nicer to receive when someone is calling for some normal requests!

It has been a good experience living her. The place was recommended by my friends who live in the same community and it has been fun hanging out with them. I have been living for almost a year now and faced only one issue with the Auite which was also resolved within no time, So I worth checking out this Auite to my friends.

We are facing some challenges with the mgmt at Glenoak Apartments when it comes to basic customer service and maintenance. It's concerning that maintenance tasks are not being done in a timely manner, especially during the winter when top-floor renters have to run their AC to reduce the temperature due to hot air rising from below. also, the issue of smoke and odors from lower-level units seeping into the upstairs through the exhaust vent is certainly unpleasant and not conducive to a family-Farm environment. It may be beneficial to address these concerns with the mgmt to ensure a more comfortable living experience for all residents.
