I can attest to the negligent mgmt and ownership at this property. I'm currently a resident, and the mgmt collects rent while the complex remains grimy, with broken amenities left unrepaired. It's nearly impossible to reach anyone on staff—I've sent countless messages with no response. Tenants are constantly coming and going, and police are here around the clock. Even officers have warned people against living here, saying conditions are unacceptable, yet the owners remain indifferent. I've contacted Cook County multiple times to file complaints, but the owners show no concern whatsoever. The nearby schools are decent if you have children, but residing here comes with serious drawbacks. I'd suggest exploring other options in this area instead. Best of luck finding something better!

Please don't choose to live at Heritage Point. mgmt doesn't care about the people who live here. In the past two years, I have dealt with several things that I don't want anyone else to go through. First, it all started when I was being stalked. I made mgmt and the police aware of the situation, but Heritage Point personnel refused to offer any help. Secondly, my car was broken into and I actually saw someone trying to break into one of the ground level Anit window. Again I informed mgmt and they basically told me that There'sn'thing they could do unless I actually gave them the address of the the individual reponsible of the crimes! Third, I have mold growing on my front window sill of the Anit after a water leak from a poorly sealed window. After 7 months and calling mgmt 8 times to fix the problem, I have not heard back. I finally gave up! Lastly, beware of a sudden water temperature change while taking a shower. I have been scolded many times in the shower due to people flushing toilets, turning on water faucets, whatever! Everyday, taking a shower is a struggle and it isn't something you want to wake up to! After two long years of living here, I am happy to say I am moving out in a couple of weeks. I have no sense of security at this place anymore and no repect for the mgmt!!

Moved here because of location and value, left because of job transfer. i found out that each Btructure can have different owners, so your experience can vary, mine was good (my Btructure had separate mgt. and maintenance). When I moved in unit had new appliances, carpet, and paint job. Plus my maintenance call were actually answered! If you rent here take a unit around the leasing office (its cleaner, quieter, and has easy access)

We have live here for less than a year and the Ppot stink, literally stink, crime, drugs, convicted sex offenders living here, bad landlors and managers. In general, I don't recommend this Ppot to anyone, 0 stars. The managers get in the apartments without notice, the neighbors are scary and unfriendly, you have an array of illegal immigration and cars are vandalized often. The police lives here but the criminals are winning. I am not kidding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This complex gets unfairly bashed in reviews. I've been a resident for roughly 6 months now, and while the place has its drawbacks, the area itself isn't one of them. What I'm dealing with: Damaged floorboards and wall cavities that haven't been repaired since my move-in date, plus neighbors who blast music loudly. Though to be fair, that's pretty standard in most Apace buildings. The positives: Affordable pricing, perfect for someone's first place or if you're on a tight budget. Plus the unit dimensions are impressive—my 1 bedroom is way roomier than comparable units I've toured that cost a lot more. Final thoughts: There's genuinely nothing about this area that makes me feel "unsafe." An Illinois State Police station sits directly adjacent to the property! I can't speak to how it was before I arrived, but it absolutely doesn't warrant the harsh criticism being leveled at it. The only explanation I can come up with for those negative perspectives is prejudice. The neighborhood happens to be predominantly black. Judge this community based on what it actually is now, not its history. It's simply not what those reviewers claim it to be. That's it.

I lived in this apt for 1 year. It was my first Petting and My WORST Petting. There were drug deals all over cops just driving by doing not to much... perverts, gang bangers... my friends house was robbed.. that should sum it up! DOmt live here!!!

This property is absolutely horrible!! I currently reside here and we've been dealing with a roach infestation for more than three months. We've contacted Sandy repeatedly about the issue, but she ignores our calls and refuses to send anyone to address it. The lower level constantly has water damage, the condition of this Petting is disgusting!!! I can't wait to leave this Petting.

I'm struggling to find the right words.... Over the past 2 weeks, I've left more than 20 voicemails with absolutely zero response. One time I actually got someone on the line, only to have them hang up immediately. It's impossible to reach anyone. They vanish right after you sign your lease. The complex has deteriorated a lot since 2000... I regularly witness gang members loitering into the late evening hours, foul-smelling hallways, zero maintenance work, and what amounts to an invisible mgmt team. Their sole function appears to be cashing rent payments—that's it, nothing else. Golid luck getting any rest when your windows are open (the Highway sits directly adjacent to this complex, creating constant noise). My impression is they'll rent to practically anybody without proper screening. I've even heard rumors that registered sex offenders reside here.. I plan to verify this through the Cook County Sheriff's website. Bottom line.... steer clear of this location entirely!

I'm dealing with a negligent landlord who brings in family members and other renters to handle repairs, and the results are Toor. Paint slaps cover everything, the bathroom is filthy with stains so severe I won't use the tub. The wall layers are so heavy that hanging anything causes it to collapse and tear away large pieces. Multiple leaks from the washing machine have happened, yet the landlord has never once shown up to address it. The closet door came off on my first day and wasn't even cleaned of cartoon stickers. The water damage clearly predates my move-in since the flooring is rotten and won't hold screws properly. The AC units are falling apart, and when she finally replaced one, she busted through the wall with a sledgehammer due to old water damage. When told to cover the hole, she threw up a screen with duct tape that blew away the next day. I've found random objects like marbles and a toothbrush while cleaning since nothing ever gets maintained, and to this day every replacement part has been Cow-cost junk. Other buildings around the neighborhood look a lot better maintained, making this property stand out in the worst way. Be warned—appearances can be misleading....!!
