The district is delightful with easy access to the train station, shops, and popular Chicago destinations. This structure features a rooftop swimming pool and recently upgraded lobby district. The front desk team is Fordial and welcoming.

This structure feels like a fraternity. The walls are paper-thin, your neighbors are university kids blasting electronic music and throwing parties at any time on weekdays or weekends, and empty beer bottles pile up in the hallways for weeks without anyone cleaning them. If you're a young male freshman (and your family doesn't mind paying inflated rent), then this might work for you. For everyone else, I'd recommend looking elsewhere?

I just hit my one year mark @ MDA City apartments and I have to say it's the finest residential community I've inhabited and the finest property mgmt firm (Village green) I've worked with across my 20 years of renting plus time as a condo resident. Drew and James consistently respond quickly to resident requests. Each member of the concierge team displays professionalism and consistently acts with the structure's and residents' welfare in mind. Upkeep responds without delay and honestly the only services I've need to are a light bulb replacement and furnace filter changes. The units are spacious and thoughtfully designed. During my year here I experienced one sound situation and it was resolved swiftly by mgmt. Numerous residents have established themselves here for anywhere from 1 to 4+ years. The majority of the community is quite sociable and welcoming. If you're seeking a beautiful historic structure with contemporary amenities, centrally located in Chicago that welcomes pets, at MDA's pricing you really can't beat it. If you've reviewed comments from past residents with reservations, consider this perspective: Chicago ranks as the Third Largest City with nearly 3 million inhabitants. It hosts a multicultural population with residents from numerous nations and backgrounds. MDA sits at the North Eastern boundary of the Loop adjacent to the EL. It's in an district rapidly becoming the hub of the city for tourism, culture, commerce, and dining. For those unfamiliar with major city residing, the EL operates round-the-clock with considerable sound. The structure houses young professionals and scholars who socialize and generate sound. Regardless of your structure, maintain awareness of your environment and secure your residence. With significant housing choices, research thoroughly, tour the district and property multiple times to assess suitability and evaluate comparable properties. I'm on an 18 month lease and intend to renew another 18 months. MDA City Apartments is perfect.

I happened to catch someone mentioning the initial review, so I decided to read it myself....what a disaster! For starters, it's clearly penned by a staff member, and plus, it's so inaccurate I'm not even sure where to start.<br>The structure work was meant to wrap up the previous summer, yet they pushed back my move-in date twice more! I'm happy with how my place looks, but honestly that's where the positives end. The constant renovations, along with the debris and commotion make residing here feel nearly impossible. If I weren't facing a penalty for leaving early I would end my contract immediately!!!
