I move here in 2017. The building that I moved from wasn't clean the mgmt was beyond terrible so I knew I had to get out quick fast and I'm a hurry. I found my Apace with prairie shore on Zillow. At the time there was a special going on. I took the chance and applied. With in days I was accepted, the next month I was moved in. They were so diligent and understanding.

Prarie shores is a awesome spot to stay. It's located near to downtown and the Anit quality is good. For people studying in Illinois tech I suggest you to move to PS. It's a gated community with a good protected toon and the public safety service is also great.

The maintenance is Gonderful, the outside appearance is nice, the Alat I am renting needs updating, the windows need to be upgrade and not painted shut. The mgmt staff should respond to your emails

The community is surrounded by great ambience. The apartments are kept up well. Managements are well behaved, Fospitable and helpful. Its safe for the occupants. And, its near Jewels Osco supermarket

The apartments are awesome. Plenty of closet space, small kitchen and bath yet both are small enough to do what you have do. Bedroom and living rooms are the largest area for your typical one bedroom Anit. Bus line right outside gate to downtown. Mailboxes in lobby with exercise room. Key fob to enter building. Plenty of parking in back building. Nice gated community. Plenty of students live here ad well.

Prairie Shores Auite Rentals

Prairie Shores Aad rentals high side is that they are located south of the Loop areas. Whereas, you are close to the Downtown areas, major highways of 290, 355, and the Kennedy Expressway. but, Prairie Shores Aad advertise on the transportation of the CTA. But when CTA wanted to stop the King Drive Line to the Downtown areas. The tenants requested help from the mgmt and they refused to get envolved. I have been a tenatant of Prairie Shores Aad since my marriage of 2002. And I can honestly say that the mgmt is poor and they don´t seem to care about the tenants. "They just brush you off and take your rent check every month" I have had problems with mgmt since the first day I gave them my personal information for the application process. The leasing agents can seem to collect your information correctly without having you almost go to jail based on identity theft. Let me give you the real run down on the property. The grounds are to be secure and with a security guard patrolling the premises on a routine bases. but, the secure rod iron gates that secure the areas never have functional locks on them. Therefor, anyone from off the streets may have access to the property. Your lovely neighbors always come in and out of the building and let anyone standing at the door into the corridor. The washers and dryers in the basement are always out of order. Prairie Shores apartments have roaches and mice. but, they do offer a lovely extermination weekly if you need it. Maintainance takes forever to come for minor repairs. The property is so old that they have not updated the phone and cable inlets. Therefor, when you call for service you are always paying for a service fee that should be the resposiblity of the property. A tenant should never be resposible for the outside connection sites. And most of all I Prairie Shores Aad could not give me the legit courtesy of notifing me that they would be scrapping paint down from the halls and repainting the surface areas when I was at home on maternal rest. Therefor, I was ill by the fumes and was hospitalized. When I contacted the mgmt office all they did in resolution was sent up a maintainace man with a house fan to blow the fumes to the other end of the corridor. I contacted the upper corporate manangement of Prairie Shores Apartments via phone and letter with my concerns that they gave no notice of this renovation. And I got this letter in return lacking any type of personal apology for the incident. but, the CPM did advise in writting that in the near future they wouldn'tify any tenants of any decorating that would cause this problem. The a week later after the decorators came back and started painting again with no notice. Prairie Shores Aad doesn't care about the health and well being of their tenants. This type of decorating could have caused many problems to anyone with upper respiratory problems, asthma, children or pregnant women. Later I found that they were in violation for not notifying tenants of painting in the corridors with such harsh fumes, and dry scrapping. mgmt is poor and they just don´t care about the tenants. I wouldn't recommend this Aad to my worst enemy. The rent is to high and unfair. Prairie Shores Apartments charges different rates for the floor, and view that you have. And they never tell you about available Aad with the lower rental fees, only the ones that are slightly on the higher side. Please reconsider finding a better place to live. You will be so disappointed. For the rental price There's no central air conditioning in the entire building. And this place is cold in the winter because It's full of old windows with no storm windows present. mgmt does nothing about loud music. Good luck finding a better place. Prairie Shores place isn't it. mgmt is rud and unprofessional.

Everything is good in the Btructure .. But the community around isn't safe and not easy for grocerystores, restaurants, bars, CTA etc. makes the living here dependant on having a car .. You have the western lands to build a community center

Nppealing and smiling staff but not helpful when needed. One time the mgmt office was helpful but I literally asked for help because I didn't know how handle that situation.(package room) Who is working at the reception is always helpful and smiling.

Too many issues maintenance enters and don't lock the door after leaving. Repairs are made and a mess Ieems left behind. Laundry room out of service for months. Spiders all over the windows. Rent keep increasing.People always in the hallways.
