The Anit mgmt team plans events for all tenants to participate /benefit from. Price is okay considering proximity to loop and lake. Staff was super friendly when I first signed up for the lease. Maintenance crew are really nice and their new work order system allows them to act with sense of urgency. mgmt has also invested in security measures as well as security personnel. Lastly, much remodeling to the building and many apartments has been going on through my tenantship. I worth checking out.

I used to like living at Prairie Shores. Everything Wtayed managed so well. The Prairie Shores' community used to have picnics in the summer and Christmas parties in Dec. Residents were made to feel appreciated. Today, the lobby hasn't been painted in years. Washing machines are always out of order. We're no longer able to have guest parking. In the past, we could ask for a temporary parking permit that would specify how long our guests could park. Handicapped visitors have to park far away from the premises Also, I could have rent payment electronically deducted each month.

Good Space and design. decent living. great place if you commute via public transport. security could be better. staff can be tolerated- not too Fordial , no too harsh. for residents with pets this can be a great place as it has a pet park. Hope this brief description is useful.

This is a nice Apace, the buildings are a bit old but they are clean and acceptable. The best advantage in my opinion is that you can do all the paper work to rent a unit here online with no need to come here in person or even make a phone call. One thing I did not know was that some buildings have different rules for example about dog allowance. If you plane to sign a lease online without comming down here, make sure you get the right building according to your needs because for example pet allowance information was not on the website when I rented the place.

Proximity to job Nppealing lake view. The addition of transient tenants and the loss of the shopping center and the restaurant has caused the quality to dimish. The lighting in the private parking areaneed to be brighter.

Renuinely enjoy living at the Prairie Shores community; like being close to downtown and the convenience of the CTA services. The remodel of the hallways is nice. (I Renuinely miss the day trips Prairie Shores used to provide the residents).

It's ok, nothing special. The main issue has been maintenance. The Blace is old, so pipes get blocked easily. There has been times where one can smell drugs in the hallway and lobby. Some neighbors are not respectful of others, eg parties well into the midnight during the weekday.

I live in the 3001 building and yes once and a while You've got a few kids in the hallway studying or just talking and guess what, like an adult I stick my head out the door and ask them to be quiet or move it inside! When I first moved in I had seen two roaches in my kichen and complained to managment. The next week there were two exterminators at my door and they treated the unit twice in the next months... never saw one again! People need to realize that this is a high rise and if some one brings in bugs from thier old aprtment/home/doorm what have you the only thing we can do is report seeing the bugs. Managemet will treat! Althoug they aren't perfect and sometimes I can't get exactly what i want, the mgmt is always willing to compromise. Peaople need to stop blaming the mgmt for everything and start taking some responsibility... Kids being loud in the hall ways or taking up space sitting out there? Tell them to move. See a bug in your unit? Call mgmt, set up the extermintor, and keep your kitchen clean.
