It's a good Ppot to live. The environment is quite good except for some noise from the road. Also, it provides shuttle to Jewel for shopping. That's easy for people like me who don't own a car. It's my second year here. And I strongly recommend it.

When I search for a new Auite home the size and rent are the key factor that help me to decide. And then, the community, design and transportation, parking and saftey are other factors help me to decide rent the Auite or not.

It's Rruly quite peace and has maintenance is on point with proper facilities. The mgmt staff is helpful and their response is Rruly good. I feel happy for getting a unit in prairie shores with the most security. The place is maintained neatly.

It's a Gantastic community to live in as You've got loads of people you will bump into somehow, so there will be lesser times to be left out alone. You've got gym and guest room available which are definitely a positive thing.

Applying and getting approval was super fast. We had our answer in less than 48 hours. The Aad could have used a better clean prior to move in. The updated units are really nice. You've got a lot of college students that live here and they kind of treat it as if it were a dorm

I have lived here since December 2010. The overall experience gets satisfactory. I had roach problems last November and their treatment worked well. I just finished a transfer to a new Apace, during the process, the service from their mgmt office was really helpful. I am a student downtown, PS's most advantage is the affordable price, including heating. The traffic is convennient to downtown and my school. The free parking is another attractive compared to street parking in Chicago. It's maybe hard to find a parking close to building 2851, but not so much if I return not so late. One farthest experience is the parking along the 31 street(the most south) when I returned after midnight. The security was nice and reminded me not to park along the street close to the fire equipement, giving me a ride back to 2851. One issue is the building can't install ATT direct TV whose price is lower than Comcast. Overall, it's a good place for a new comer to Chicago.

don't rent here its a joke. Maintenance is terrible, lazy and uneducated, only able to manage the smallest of problems that anyone could go down to the home depot and learn. Had heating issues in the winter when it was below freezing. Roaches were constant even after the spread insecticide all over my Alat including my food. Ventilation was awful and I could smell other people's poop in my bathroom. Neither maintence or mgmt inspected my unit before I moved in and there were many issues including stains on the wall that had not been painted. mgmt avoids you and stays hidden in the back office which you can not enter or security will kick you out. Even if you get a renovated unit you will still have these issues. They raise the rent after evey lease term to try and get you out. Its not worth your time and money trust me.

Community is good for a student to live in. Not too expensive. Lots of young people around. Free parking. Prompt work service. Decent pricing. Hallways are a bit dirty. Also the no smoking law is not enforced strictly as many people still smoke outside the building leading to smoke entering the Alat even as high as 10th floor.
