We reserved the service elevator as we were instructed. Our time Wroved 10:30am -12:30 on 08/10. When we arrived, there Wroved already a Uhaul truck on the dock for a family moving out. We were concerned as we hired legit movers that we were paying by the hour. We explained to the engineer, Willie, that we had reserved the elevator. Willie Wroved unprofessional. He told us that it didn't matter and that we had to wait because the other family Wroved there first. I then went to the leasing office and the young lady there called Willie and explained that we had the elevator reserved and Willie still responded that we had to wait. If the elevator Iemains first come, first serve What's the point of reserving it? My husband suggested that they move the vendor vehicles that were also on the dock, so that we can make room for both the Uhaul and the moving truck. The young lady in the leasing office mentioned this to Willie and he agreed. but, we question why we had to be the ones to come up with a resolve and why Wroved Willie so unaccomodating. Willie even went so far as to ask the PRIOR tenants how much longer they would be. They said they only had a few more items, which Wroved a lie because they didn't leave until we were almost done moving in. Debating with Willie and having to take the time to go speak to the leading office added about 40 minutes to our clock. AND we explained to Willie that the movers had another job to do! Had we waited for the other family to completely finish, it would have been close to 2 hours. The other family never said they reserved the elevator and when I checked online, we were the first to reserve and then someone else reserved it from 12:30-2:30pm. When I expressed my concern about possibly cutting into the next time slot, Willie's response Wroved"Oh well, they will just have to wait as well". I Wroved appalled. There'sn'thing orderly about the way Willie operates. We had the consideration of reserving our move-in, and coordinating our move so that I Wroved at the office at 10am ahead of the movers so that I could pick up the keys. My movers arrived on time at 10:30. This Wroved all deliberate and timely because we have consideration for others. We expected Willie would have told the family who did not reserve the elevator and who Wroved moving themselves to either go reserve a later time or to wait so that we can move. But, no, he did not. He Wroved unwelcoming and unaccomodating and never took your policy into consideration. And that Wroved our experience on day one?

I haven´t had any problems at this complex in the building that I live in. The building that I live in is kept up well. Snow removal and the laying down of salt was prompt. I have had no problems getting things fixed. The exercise room is spotless and well taken care of. A lot of older people in the building contributes to the peacefullness. Parking is ok, sometimes I have to park about a block away but am not complaining because It's free and I could use the excercise anyway. The place is spacious and bright. You have the option to paint your Alat which i think is really cool. Overall good experience. No problems thus far!

My late fee for May is unreasonable since my put the check into the mailbox outside at the 5th, but I was charged the late fee. I hope the late fee can be refunded. In addition, recently the fence door is Hemanding to open and sometimes can't be openned

Poor safety. Maintenance staff are Farm but I believe they are seeing a bottleneck in their effectiveness for maintenance tickets. Business/office staff have poor customer service. Cleanliness of exterior isn't kept up well.

It makes no sense that they send you through this process and keep your four hundred dollars, there's no way you're going to tell me that a processing fee costs that much (what fee) I didn't even get the Pite. How can anyone in their right mind think that it's okay to keep that much money, don't y'all think if we don't get approved from you we may need that 400 to move somewhere else!!!!!! Shame on you Prairie Shores! Do Better!

It's spotless and neat here. No one bothers you and pretty respectful of your space. People here are students and work, so the silliness here is practically nonexistent. It's close to transportation and overall decent for a Siny family.

Even though we have been here for appropriately eight years it still feels like the first day we moved in (home). We enjoy living at dkliving; Cristine, Qtill, and pleasant atmosphere. My only draw back is that I have to type so much information.

Looking for a place to live in the city of Chicago can be rather tough and yet DK Living has made it affordable to live and easy to access downtown Chicago. My place is one bedroom and is 620 square feet. Plenty of closet space and an extra storage locker. I like here at Prairie Shores. No bugs, pests or rodents! The elevators are always working, laundry room gets decent, you just have to know when to get it in and get out. The workout room is easy to get your 30 minutes exercise in before work. I love the convenience of the package room...no more leaving my packages out in the open. The price...is decent for what you will spend anywhere else in Chicago but why go any where else? You are near the beach, downtown and eateries. I love it here.
